Stucked overloaded gun "ghost" module can't be un-fitted from ship

Hi All.

I have this strange situation where I have a “ghost” gun overloaded by .25 Uu, which

appears in the fitting GUI, but says “empty” ,and disappears when virtualizing the fit.

It can’t be moved.

It cant be swapped or replaced by anything else.

The only option left would be to try repackage the ship (which would mean losing all rigs…)

And this “should” work" in not either guaranteed, bc I have no idea what sort of bug I’m dealing with here…

Has anyone had a similar experience and what are your suggestions to sort it out???

First of all, including a screenshot in which the relevant slots are cut off is peak comedy. Secondly, just repackage the ship and reassemble it. We can plainly see that it is not currently rigged, and even if it were, rigs aren’t destroyed when they’re removed from T3Cs.

If you alter the subsystems then the gun can end up occupying a slot that no longer exists. Though I can’t say I’ve ever had that make the gun ‘un-removable’.

No Rigs = Repackage.

Or just right click ship and Strip Fit, it should leave rigs intact

I had the same bug just with scanner and probes. Strip fitting did nothing, repackaging duplicated probes.

Yeah, I would do it, if only I could not lose 100+Mil of subsystems…

I tried everything else to no avail.

You won’t lose the subsystems, they’ll just go into your hangar.

It appears a message that says, whatever you try to do will not work, the ship is not in the same location… I also tried with a mobile fit in space, same behaviour.

All modules goes off but that one overloaded don’t move one inch… it’s glued in…

I captured the message about the ship being in somewhere but not here in that screenshot,

look the last one, there’s 5 guns and only 4 gun slots, no ragebait.
