Suicide ganking is way too low risk, change my mind

wow clearly my valid point triggered you please keep putiting my post at the top for all the devs to read

If it was so easy, you would be able to do it.

I can see you don’t have a response to that.

I am not saying logistically its easy, however the amount of isk risked to destroy high value targets is far too low.

I will use this example and there are hundreds if not thousands of them on zkillboard, A 600m isk hulk is killed by 5 Catalyst that cost 11m each, That’s not even close to balanced isk vs reward,

Of course it’s balanced.

The miner gets ore if he doesn’t get ganked.

The ganker gets nothing if she doesn’t gank.

:balance_scale:

It’s not risked. It’s carefully calculated into the cost of doing business. The easiest way to make yourself immune from ganking is to simply not be worth the money to gank.

So… cheap ships can’t blow up more expensive ones anymore?
Do you know that enough frigates can bring down entire battleships on their own? Is the concept of swarming a larger less mobile entity known to you? Do you think it’s crazy that small agile ships can work together to bring down larger vessels?

Save it. You’re going to say “of course not!!” and talk a lot of crap to essentially say that it’s not okay if gankers do it. Maybe you’re going to act all tough to show everyone what a baddie you are. Maybe you’ll try to look really smart and explain to a serial ganker how ganking really works.

I can tell you that whatever you do, it’s not going to work, because you are simply not clever and wise enough to actually argue ganking. The killmail you’re presenting as some kind of “proof” already says it all. What do you want to tell us with this? Putting expensive faction modules on your ship makes blowing it up the gankers fault? Do you seriously expect things to go well, if you don’t accept that other humans will want to kill you and steal everything you have?

Where are you going with your big question? What if it’s too low risk and the devs don’t do anything about it? What if I have literal millions of catalysts in my hangar bay and equip them with dirt cheap tier 1 modules just so I can even cost-effectively dunk retrievers with basic strip miners, for days on end? Would this surprise you? Would you quit EVE? Would you try to stop me?

With incoming regards

I wonder if a turbo miner might have any motivation to dishonestly claim ganking is “way too low risk”. What if Highsec ice mining is way too low risk? What if Hakokeed just wants to mine more, without any risk?
