Thats a real long reach my friendā¦ā¦but i wouldnt know, ive never been ganked so i dont have an amazing story to tell about it.
However, im a huge supporter of ganking. No, im not a ganker myselfā¦..i hardly ever get involved with pvpā¦..its just not for me. Ive been blown up during wardecs. I was inexperienced and didnt know how to fit ships. My attackers convoed me and said good fight and heres what you did wrong. I took that advice and improved. I still got blown up many timesā¦but i learned from each and every experience.
Theres my little storyā¦im not ashamed of anything. You can look up this account and see one little tiny ship blown up since 2010. My other account has a bit longer zkill but its also pathetic. i have no shame on that or what anybody thinks about it. This is my funā¦this is my little getaway from life.

Umā¦because blowing up your ships is fun.
I mean, the ultimate purpose of having ISK is to buy ships to blow stuff up. That is the end destination of every ISK in EVE. What is the point of mining for ore to get ISK, just to have a pile of ISK ? What is the point of trading stuff just to get a bigger pile of ISK ? EVE is ultimately all about blowing stuff up. That is the end destination of all the mining and industry in EVEā¦ā¦explosions.
So the fact that you ask why do people blow up your ship in a PvP game that is all about blowing up ships shows you fundamentally do not understand EVEā¦.a game in which 95% of the ships are blowing stuff up ships.

Some people like watching ships blow up, some people like acquiring vast sums of wealth or territory. EVE is a sandbox where every player gets to decide what their fun goal is.
i honestly find this whole thing funny, because i run 4ās on a typhoon, since it actually has benefits of hitting the smaller ships, which are extremely common in l4ās. I do it at less than 1/3 the cost, i dont have to seige, i spend about the same time doing it and make the same amount of isk.
I say i do it in about the same time because, i dont have to rely on drones to kill ships. Iām always there, not afk because i dont play while Iām at work, on someone elses time and dime.

Thereās nothing wrong with that. Itās peaceful.
I spend my day solving everyoneās problems. Iām on the phone with vendors and tech support and talking to managers and lab techs. I research to find creative solutions to difficult problems. I then come home and take care of the house, spend time with my wife and cats.
When I get time to myself, sitting alone in a room in my comfortable computer chair watching my ship fire lasers at rocks is my chance to unwind and decompress.
Itās my choice. It works for me. I enjoy it.

Only incompetent miners spend that much time with that.
We miners that are much more skilled only watch lasers for 8 hours.

For some reason, some people just want to normalize EVE, normalizing EVE will be the end of EVE.
But (and everything after a but is a lie) I also understand miners POV, and I think itās only fair to give them the tools to fightback, to fight for their lives, to fight for the right to the oil, I mean the ore, I propose ORE CRUISER.
Hmā¦ miners are mining their materials (ore, gas, ice, pi, moons, whatever else they need) in nullsec (anyway not highsec). Building there whatever they want and got home def fleets, jump bridges and intel. Miners in high sec - very suspiciousā¦ sounds like perverts. Any benefits in mining in highsec with neutrals around? I can imagine only one - you want to play this game alone.
Not anytime soon. My corp is moving in a different direction. Iāll be leaving High Sec soon. CCP has finally ruined High Sec to the point of no return.
Thatās not to say that Null Sec is good- just that the nullbear cave dwellers succeeded in convincing CCP to make High Sec that bad. I used to love HS.

Not anymore. There used to be benefits. Now, you have to pretty much PLEX if you want to High Sec properly. I occasionally drop $20 just to PLEX and get 3 billion ISK. It worked for about 2.5 years. High Sec is peaceful. There is actually zero threat from neutrals if you know what youāre doing. Hell, Iāve mined in an ice field multiple times with gankers picking off Hulks right next to me.
But The real problem is war decs. I grew tired of replacing Athanors. Defending them doesnāt work. If you bring 10 ships and fight them off, theyāll come back with 20. If you get 50, theyāll get 150. There is no winning anymore. You cannot defend against war decs when it comes to Black Flag and Absolute Order- especially when they join forces against you. Why continue to pay billions in mercenary fees to defend a structure that only cost 2 billion to replace? Why replace it if theyāre just going to outspend you to destroy it again? High Sec was successfully ruined for me. CCP did it on purpose because Nullbears ran out of small corps to shoot at and would not stop throwing tantrums. Iāve been in enough war decs that Iāve lost count. Itās not sustainable.
Ganking doesnāt hurt High Sec. War Decs do. So Iām going to buy a fleet of Ventures, pack up a few cloaked ships, and head to the worst gaming environment Iāve ever played in- Null secā¦ well, 2nd worse now.

An Athanor means moon mining. Itās more than just business. Moon mining was the only profitable action left in HS, but they found a way to take that away too.
I honestly believe that nullbears lie awake all night terrified to go to sleep for fear of nightmares about HS players making any kind of income.
Canāt you just base out of NPC stations, use the orca to compress, and either cloak trick or skill into jump freighter to move your highsec ores into a low/null refinery? AO dare not go there.
Moon mining. Itās all about the moon ore. Itās better than Ice.
This isnāt true. Iāve personally seen them take over a thousand ships to one of their fortizars in Null. They have a Keepstar.

I guess youāll just have to hunt AO then. I recommend ganking them until they bugger off. Chat with them. Offer to talk with them on discord whenever you can. Record everything so you can report these nazis to CCP and get them banned.
No, you cant compress that in an npc station.
Weve tried this on a much smaller scale and these folks cant be negotiated with. Theyre like a swarm of locust in this game.
