Suicide ganking is way too low risk, change my mind

I only replied to the post you made.

I’ll bring an MTU along ! I mean….that seems to be just about the only thing you have experience of shooting

Poor defenceless MTUs….I mean, attacking things that can’t shoot back. Appalling.

What is wrong with the post? You can’t read it? Was it addressed to you? Read it again, take a break and repeat. Maybe at one point you will be able to understand it.

I have a better idea. I’ll bring my MTU and you can shoot at it for free. Then you can see what happens.

Everyone who disagrees with him is a ganker. Even though most ( including myself ) are actually not. All Gloria’s kills are suspects.

You’re right! I read the first few lines and then I stopped. Didn’t think it was worth the effort. Too much nonsense.

I don’t think I ever said that, but you are free to make your own assumptions.

Ah yes, you’re the ‘I never said that…..’ guy……even though only a few posts above you say…

“So we get a distorted picture of reality, because 80% of those responding to this post are gankers themselves”

I forgot, you’re also the plucking numbers out of thin air guy.

It says 80%. I can’t help that you feel personally addressed.

I see. You can write, but can’t read. Happens. Not sure why others should read posts of the person who can’t read but is replying.

It’s not even 80%. Only two of the members here are regular gankers. You confuse people who defend ganking as actually being gankers.

I really don’t understand what your problem is. You got ganked and it was entirely your own fault. Get over it ! Most people don’t spend months and months and months ranting on about how unfair their ship loss was. They learn from their experience and grow as a player.

If I got ganked, my response would simply be ‘ good fight ‘ and that would be the end of it. That potential loss is part of the risk that makes the game fun. Gankers are actually providing an essential service preventing highsec becoming utterly boring.

I have read your story. Are you happy now?

A brief summary:

When I responded to this post, there was no mention of ganks in High Sec. Yes, it has happened to me a few times in the past, and I had also noticed that gankers had appeared in my missions a few times. That is why I never paid much attention to it.

When my alts were ganked for fun, I thought: Why? There is nothing valuable in the ships; why gank if it yields nothing? There is no logic behind it, other than that it is an easy way to get kills and it looks “good” on the killboard.

Wait… reached? Eve STARTED like this 20 years ago. Ganking in high sec was even more common than it is now.

This game is for you:

I doubt anyone is going to go looking in her for your ideas.

I know how old the game is. I come from a time when rigs and wrecks didn’t exist yet. And Band of Brothers was still a thing.

I just don’t quite understand why you’re bringing up Hello Kitty. Any personal experience with that?

I can’t remember how it went 20 years ago, but I do vaguely recall that you didn’t get ganked for fun. You did get ganked if you had a hauler with 1 bill of loot in it. That is a big difference compared to now. Maybe ganking is indeed less now, but the standards are lower too.

I don’t believe that at all. Let’s see what happens.

No? 14 years ago when I played, people would destroy your ship in high sec just for using auto pilot. You didn’t even need to be worth anything. Just an empty T1 hauler would get destroyed. PvP happened everywhere in high sec in those days.

I cannot comment on that, because it was simply too long ago.

I see that it is too simple now. You buy some tags and your standing is fixed. In that case, it is better to just scrap the entire security status system right away, because it serves absolutely no purpose.

Nope. It’s always been easy.
