Personally, I think that many players who have been ganked are ashamed to make their story public, because they don’t want players trashing them. As a result, their story never gets heard, and we don’t get any insight into what they actually think about what happened.
So we get a distorted picture of reality, because 80% of those responding to this post are gankers themselves and naturally want nothing to change regarding the current policy. Of course, there are two sides to the story, and those need to be looked at as well.
Im going to create a new post with a petition vote to change the current policy regarding ganking in High Secure, and I will send an in-game email to all players who have been ganked asking them to participate in my post. After that, an objective opinion can be formed.
I will propose some ideas for this, which I will post in Gloria Exercitus.
To be honest, I didn’t expect much sympathy either. I read several posts on the EVE Forum and Reddit where people simply had questions and were literally trashed.
I am almost certain you won’t show up if I come for a PVP. Nine out of ten gankers stay neatly docked when they are hunted down. That is why the whole killright system doesn’t work at all. They gank and dock and wait for the next gank. In my opinion, it completely detracts from the game.
But if you want to fight me, I am happy to come, and I am the last one to walk away. You can even bring your buddies along and do your CONCORD pulloff trick. But I doubt it.
Why are you so toxic? Have I hurt you or everyone just beat you up so you are looking for a victim? Have I been talking with you? Why do you think that I’m a ganker? You already shown how good you are at pvp, wasted Golem and a Capsule… my dear forum warrior, don’t cry as you have already shown your best skills.
I think that Bigfoot are scared to be seen and so hide so that people will think they don’t exist. Same with the Loch Ness monster. It is just hiding. And unicorns too !
