Suicide ganking is way too low risk, change my mind

What does null sec have to do with this?

In null sec we simply all are PvP-eligible. No rules. It’s only your HS rules that cause some people to be ‘legal PvP’-eligible and not others.

And when most players are not ‘legal PvP’-eligible, the only remaining option is to do criminal attacks against them if one wishes to attack those players in PvP.

With the (old) high-sec wardec system? Everything.

I was there, I remember well…

I mainly remember the seal-clubbing, where my corporation was literally wardec’d week in and week out. To the point where we disbanded and most joined NPC corporations just to avoid the constant 24/7 harassment. Good times (not)…

I don’t know what to tell you. I took an extended break not long thereafter (as did many others, I suspect).

Get null-sec the heck out of high-sec and then we can change things. No offense, but you already pissed in your sandbox - you really need to stop sh*ting in everyone elses… And by “out”, I mean banning null-sec trade hubs and POCO control. And while we’re at it - extend this to low-sec as well.

What’s the specific high-sec tax issue? That it’s too high?

So what’s the solution?

I think one solution is to give the defender in a wardec more opportunity to fight back. Currently, the Absolute Flag blob destroys their structure and the war is over. The defender should have the option to continue the fight, forcing the attacker to be more selective in who they attack as there will be more longterm consequences.

Coming from you - the irony is a little funny, you have to admit.

It is ironic, by tying structures to wardecs, CCP made it harder for miners to fight back. There’s a clear problem, with an obvious solution.

The problem started with structures and continued with structures. Adding a “core” didn’t achieve much aside from ensuring that what few structures were added in high-sec are quickly wardec’d and destroyed.

I mean, when structures were introduced there were so many f*cked-up mechanics that accompanied them… I’m not even going to touch FozzieSov with a 100-foot pole…

Yeah, 95% sounds right (I was going off memory when I said 85%; I knew it was high - I just don’t remember it being that high). I remember being stunned when they listed the stats…

Indeed. It’s a good example of how the CSM has been corrupted from a meaningful focus group, into a lobbyist tool for nullsec.

Null-sec is why the rest of us can’t have nice things…

Nullsec interests have dominated the CSM since the beginning.

Other groups aren’t even represented.

That’s the problem.

We got a lowsec CSM in the last election. Unfortunately it was youngpuke2

@Aiko_Danuja Off-topic, but I figured if anyone knew you’d be the one to ask… When creating or revising your in-game character portrait, are there are controls or keyboard shortcuts to reset the default pose (head, torso) or otherwise lock any of the axises? Thanks in-advance!

A highsec miner who is ganked has the survival skills of a dodo bird.
