Besides, he already stated that simps will reimburse his Bowhead. He didnāt lose anything. So why shouldnāt we kill it? Clearly, he doesnāt care enough to scout or take basic precautions, but if you want to enable him feel free to send isk. Our agreement is that I will receive 15% of the donations he receives between now and December. So I heartily encourage everyone to contribute!

Whatās wrong with destroying Mikeās ship in this PvP game where people destroy anyoneās ship if they get the chance?
I mean, Mike is a good guy and has always been on my CSM ballot, but I too would shoot his ship if he happened to be where Iām looking to shoot ships.
I just think that chance is small as heās flying his Bowhead in HS and I usually fly in NS, but nevertheless I donāt see why anyone should be exempt of PvP in this game.

Iām not suggesting that the Magic School Bus should be exempt. But there was no profit in this gank - just pure spite. And killing off all the new players (or those that help them) just proves how stupid many players are.
Just like in the real world, only coyotes will inherit EVE after all the players are goneā¦

It should be obvious to many that anyone that holds somewhat of a more famous and well known notch in this game will always be even more sought afterā¦then shot and blown up.

Every day that I consider giving gankers a breakā¦ Iām given one more reason why red safety should be banned (and gankers along with it) from high-sec. On the plus side, I was able to gleam a few more groups to add to my blacklist.

Just because itās an unprofitable kill doesnāt mean they are exempt of PvP.
It just removes one (out of many) motivations to destroy the ship, and thus reduces the chance your ship gets destroyed. Itās good advice to reduce risk, not a guarantee you wonāt get attacked.
People can still attack you for other reasons, such as practice, fun, boredom, having a nice killmail or a corpse collection.
It wouldnāt be the first time I attacked someone in particular for my corpse collection because I recognized them.
I feel like youāre very judgmental about people who donāt play EVE in the way you like. Why is that?

I personally would never gank Mike. As a professional ganker, you have to recognize the deeper psychological layers of deeply seated pain and torment that any EVE Online player experiences. Mike is in a perpetual state of torment because he is forced by his good conscience to fly a terribly slow magical school bus across the entire galaxy, every day of his life. If I destroy Mikeās schoolbus, then I am not maximizing the suffering that Mike will experience over an infinite timescale. Therefore, to truly painmaxx, Mike must be allowed to continue his daily slog without disturbance.

I have never asked for protection for the Bus. I am a firm believer in the pvp aspect of the game and the chances that one takes in undocking. I know that this is odd to some of you but I do not multibox or even HAVE a second account that is Omega.
@Aiko_Danuja while I enjoy joking and teasing please do not tell falsehoods about the Bus paying gankers. The Bus flies on its reputation as much as it does on donations.
