Suicide ganking is way too low risk, change my mind

Someone who doesn’t need your permission to state the facts.

It is. Read it again, very carefully:

Game devs put exactly that text in there to tell people like you that being able to attack others even in HighSec space is totally intentional gameplay.

Are you suggesting you don’t listen to good logical arguments, but listen to authority only?

That if someone shows you how the authorities of this game have said that illegal attacks are part of HS gameplay, you dispute it only because the picture wasn’t shared by the same devs who wrote that exact text into the game?

Do you want me to write you a guide to where you can find that piece of text in the game yourself, or is it a problem that I am only a helpful player and not a game developer?

What instruction manual? This is straight out of the game.

Open the map, activate “Geography” by clicking on the star and then you have a floating menu on the right. If you don’t see it, just move your mouse there to the right to the light blue line. You can make it permanent with the arrow on the bottom.

Nuh uh… I’m the person who pays the Dev’s salary.

I’m so thankful the devs allow me to gank with impunity.

o7 devs!

We don’t have to accept we are ‘no one’.

We’re players of this game.

Most of us are capable of communicating, capable of forming our own intelligent thoughts and capable of both reading inside the game that according the devs in high security space "strikes may come from those who accept CONCORD’s deadly retribution" and understanding what that message means.

You are so unimportant, no dev will waste his time coming to you, explaining the obvious. Thats why they implemented all the info you need right into the game. See here:

Unlike ganking, which intentionally is a part of the game we are allowed to engage in, impersonation is against the rules in this game.

I agree on impersonation being bad.

The rest is speculation as you are not a Dev.

No speculation needed! I already said I’m a player with the capability to read and understand what is written in the game, like this nice explanation:

It seems we’re not all blessed like that, however.

They already backed me up in the game. Thats why they left that message there for you to find.

You keep posting this , it’s game mechanics , it’s not a Dev saying “yes this is part of the game”.

You are no doubt somebody somewhere

But unless you are a Dev you are nobody when it comes to saying what is and isn’t intentionally part of the game .

I’m sure that somebody you are elsewhere is fabulous though

Who wrote that piece of text in the game then, if not a dev?

Does that text say “Suicide ganking is a legitimate part of Eve” ?

It doesn’t . Until a Dev says those words it’s all speculation.

I dunno. I’m definitely more of a someone than a person who’s lost 5 times as many ships in one char as I’ve lost in all 6 of my Omega chars put together.

Can you please explain how you interpret that text then?

Game mechanics .

And like all Game mechanics there are unintentional oversights, exploits and loopholes.

Until a Dev says specifically that Suicide ganking is an intended part of the game it bit is and isn’t .

What a bunch of nobodies says on a forum is purely speculative at best. In order to be fact it must be clarified by someone with the authority to do so.

And why if it is an exploit or oversight did the devs write "strikes may come from those who accept CONCORD’s deadly retribution" about high sec space while they intentionally made that same playstyle impossible in the new Exordium region?

Surely this means they are both aware of the playstyle existing, and capable of stopping it. More importantly, it was a recent change to stop it in Exordium and to clarify that it exists in HS space, so they must have intentionally left that playstyle of suicide ganking in high sec.

Or how do you interpret these actions by the devs?
