So it could be that you got shot down by a moral person matching your definition and everything is fine and your complaining could be wrong?
Problem is, you will never know. No one has the obligation to talk to you to verify their background so that you can sleep well at night. But please try and open a conversation with the one who shot you down to evaluate his/her morality compass. It might turn out that as a real life pirate he or she had every right to shoot at you and that this thread was opened is based on a complete misunderstanding on your side.
