I am referring to Rally Points, Yards, and Ports; I have noticed several low sec systems where I have spent a significant amount of time in where not a single pirate anomaly has spawned in months, literal months. The ones you scan down do spawn, but the ones that you don’t have to simply don’t. Can anyone chime in on this?
Is it possible they were cleared out before you arrived? Many according to the wiki have a limited number of waves, others have only the first wave. Even when I scan a site the NPCs will not appear after 15 to 25 minutes. I only assume someone else got to them first. Belts seem to have no end to the waves of rats that appear.
Extremely unlikely, I have hundreds of hours of gas huffing in these systems and I have yet to see a single pirate anomaly spawn. I submitted a bug report hoping I’ll get a response.
I’m not sure if it’s connected, but the homefronts seem to be using the same pool of max anoms as the other combat anoms. So there’s less soloable content.
I’m not sure if that’s actually true, as I don’t have the actual numbers. It just seems to be the case.
Yeah I also had this hunch. There was never so few anomalies before. Is is logical that it might be related to homefronts.
That being said I don’t think that is the case of OP - I didn’t see homefronts in lowsec and since they doesn’t have to be scanned it would classify as an anomaly.
I don’t know if it is true, but I wouldn’t be suprised. Some of these lowsecs in Genesis especially kinda suggest there would be nothing in them.
I really do like the concept of homefronts, but I do think they need their own pools. If it’s too many anoms on one screen, CCP should just pull the homefronts out of that location and move them elsewhere. Or just give us filters.
and if there’s a total pool of available anoms per region, it would lower the total number of anoms that could appear in lowsec since homefronts are highsec only.
