Tell us about your flagship

Full name of the flagship : Dhat Ecksah
Class : Astero
Age : Something like six and a half years now
Homedock : Wherever the ■■■■
Builder : I heard Sanctuary built the thing, but they’d barely recognize it now
Status : In Service
Souls On Board : Mine if mine still ■■■■■■■ counts
Purpose : Keeping me the ■■■■ away from all you pieces of ■■■■

Reasons for flagship designation : I finally broke down and bought a Stratios (Dhat Ayenai) a couple weeks back, and it still feels ■■■■■■ up. This Astero’s kept me standing through some serious ■■■■■■■■. Does all the ■■■■ I need it to do without making my ass a big, blingy target. It’s good enough to throw down when it’s got to, it’s good enough at hauling ass when it’s got to, it’s good at going to ground when it’s got to. ■■■■, I’ve had to live out of the ■■■■■■■ thing for months at a time, and it’s good at that too.

The best thing about it? The ■■■■ under the skin of the SOE ships got designed by what’s got to be the most ■■■■■■■ genius personnel in shipboard design. ■■■■■■■ you can do anything in these. Need to rewire a ■■■■■■■ coffee maker into any panel circuit on the ship? They’re all universal wire. ■■■■■■■ circuit box is where the power output gets set, and on a per-circuit basis, so you go straight from the boxes to the relays with anyone’s ■■■■■■■ intake. Every ■■■■■■■ panel on that hull is modular, so you need to build an apartment into the thing without compromising structural integrity? You ■■■■■■■ go for it. Need to wire in a non-standard comms array or install a tapjack to the exterior? Like a 24 hour kind of job, and any dumb ■■■■ can do it with a cutter and duct tape if he had to. SOE hulls are ■■■■■■■ godmode for people who need their ships to do ■■■■ that wasn’t built in.

The best part of all that? When ■■■■ goes wrong, you can limp it home using paper clips and school glue. And ■■■■■■ if it doesn’t run like the day it bounced out of ■■■■■■■ drydock the second you make the real repairs.
