TEST vs Goons: this war is a joke

Many times the leaders are given the Nobel peace price before they kick it off.

This is how all ‘content’ has been produced in Eve in all of my 11 years. Pre-planned garbage. Forming fleets, ‘leaders’ talking to other ‘leaders’ who are set red on 3rd party communications, negotiating fleet fights with ship types and locations. LOL!

This is literally the game.

Real leaders would strike at random. Real content would include spontaneity. Real content would give cause to fight for something that is unique. Real content would give purpose to the game. Right now there is literally ZERO purpose for anything. Missions are the same. Incursions are the same. Abyssals are still glitchy-blingy death traps. Invasions are only for the ‘cool kid cliques’ with connections. Same old null blocs fighting the same old fights…

Sad.

There were some wormholers that tried to impact null blocs, but it is mostly impossible. Null is too rich and sovereignty mechanics are purely a game of N+1 titans.

Which means nothing, as evidenced by the below.

Neither side would wish to risk losing the tower, because they all benefit from it massively. Therefore all of this is nothing but an event, just like the annual summer war always has been.

Actually, real leaders in real life formally declare war, giving the other side advanced notice.

blub blub. one is about milking HS another about kick test in the ass.

Okay, so you’re a fanboy and a simpleton. Got it.

and you are nullbrainer troll nonsense spamm writer

OP is also forgetting that EVE Online is first and foremost a game of reputation. If you decide to pull a sneak attack and backstab someone you have an NIP with, you immediately gain the reputation of being untrustworthy, making it less likely that people will ever take your diplomatic agreements seriously for the rest of the game’s history. You’ve already shown that you’re willing to backstab allies out of the blue, why should anyone trust you after that?

nm i dont care

Imagine - they could announce of canceling NIP but not announce exact date of their next actions.

That would still be backstabbing.

Turns out the leadership of TEST are more gentlemanly than you are and are more than happy to give ample time for their opponents to get their affairs in order.

Please never be diplo for whatever corporation you’re part of.

Heaven forbid that anybody backstab The Goons. Perish the thought!

I haven’t seen the announcement of the exact date of their next actions though. I only know it won’t happen before the two weeks notice is over.

In real life, a war officially begins when an ambassador hand-delivers a written declaration to the opposing head of state.

Oh, like back in the 1890s? There aren’t any wars anymore, they are all police actions against enemy combatants.

But nothing stops you from backstabbing attack.
And in fact - it’s most effective way.

The blow to your reputation may stop you.

Who cares if you win?
Winner takes everything!

What do you get an alliance that already has everything? A fun summer war.
