The Case for a 100% Safe Highsec

Except I’m not complaining. You are.

Demonstrably false.

I like how you added an ellipses for dramatic effect, as if it adds any validity to your childish ramblings.

Make HS safe again.

Because Gankers Cry Harder When Their Targets Shoot Back.

It was never safe to begin with.

In a very practical sense, it was 100% safe in the beginning.

Hard disagree, Ganking has only ever been nerfed, and CCP themselves always have said that space is dangerous. Remember these are people who live on a volcano and don’t physically stop people from going past warning signs. They believe that just telling us space is dangerous is all we need warning wise. Other players saying CCP is wrong in that HS is safe are the only ones saying that HS was ever safe to begin with.

Any facts to back up that statement? I would like to see them please.

Do you mean before the first player logged into the game?

Lunatics don’t need points, just bad ideas.

I see no evidence, so the matter’s settled.

And unless you were here at the beginning, your opinion holds no weight.

So based on OP ChatGPT’s gonna make Hisec Safe Again?

Well, if you’re counting the change to not allow Alpha to go red, then you have to count the decision to allow Alpha to go red as a buff. That happened first.

Maybe some of them do but for the majority I believe a target shooting back would make for a welcome break from monotony. I’m not a ganker though so this is pure speculation from my part, afterall it’s impossible to get inside other peoples heads (atleast in the literal sense).

What a load of baloney. This came out the exact same day ( May 6th 2003 ) EVE began…and it says…

“When actually exploring the many solar systems of EVE, it’s important to note the safety level of a given area. Safety is rated from 1.0 to -1.0. This is broken up into 3 regions: high-sec (1.0 to 0.5), low-sec (0.4 to 0.1), and null-sec (0.0 to -1.0). High-sec is naturally the highest relative level of safety with CONCORD police actively patrolling throughout each system. Aggression in high-sec invariably result is CONCORD destroying the attacking ships.”

So CONCORD were there from day 1. Which by definition means you could attack people in hisec from day 1…as there’d otherwise be no point in CONCORD. Thus hisec has never, in the entire history of EVE Online, been a safe place.

It even specifically says ’ aggression in high-sec’. And that is on the very day EVE began.

Were you there?

I was.

Nah…you only go back 33 days. Stop faking. If you choose to come on under a 33 day old character…then expect to be treated like one.

Though I don’t think they are particularly happy when you shoot their scout / loot grabber alts which sometimes can be quite juicy:

What a strange thing to try to gaslight people about. Highsec was not safe from EvE beta, much less after EvE’s 2003 release. By design. CCP made their game that way.

You assert bizarre things, then demand proof. Burden of proof is on you.

We’ve got proof he hasn’t played for 22 years.

Another case of STOLEN VALOR.
