So what is your goal here? If the gank fleet has 30 people and 500mil ISK (which will be lost no matter if the gank succeeds or not) in ships on the line then what amount of people and assets would AG have to field?
ccp could as well introduce mining permits of the empire. escalate the situation.
want to mine in high with a exploration frigat, barge or exhumer get a permit from the regional empire. this permit has to be installe in a new slot for ship signature encryptors.
having such a permit creates reaction from concord towards ganker as well as faction standing loss for gankers. permit runs over certain time intervall.
no permit installed get marked as free for all ship, now fun comes faction military police (police not custome agents) scans for permits. if one has none npc gank.
permits can be bought for lp and sold on the market.
sse also allow for a new factum, faction millitant as long as in millitant encryption one can enter faction plexes if no millitant encryption then sorry civilians shouldn’t enter zones of engagement.
actually they could enter sse for sansha and sse for anti sanshas.
I think we should have a pinned “Hall of Shame” were we post about the nonsense/lies/hypocrazy (intentional :P) other posters fabricate, and how they ignore good advice, logic, etc. With links to their nonsense, of course. Yes, including their names. This is EVE ONLINE, don’t be an idiot. Good for the community as a whole, and a nice poster (as in, the thing you put on a wall) for the outside world: “We’re not toxic. If you and your ganker buddies would have bothered to actually read what we are saying rather than hacking our posts into quote trees and leaving out key parts you might have seen that we dont want to see ganking done away with. I want it balanced. Risk vs reward.
Too many people are missing the points, intentionally or unintentionally. Reading all the dumb responses from all the same people, its no wonder the game is so unpopular with a community like this.

Seems to me, that rather than coming here for a discussion, you want to tell us what you think, and leave no room for opinions that differ from your own?
The quotes were mostly from others in the thread, in which they directly address the question of risk and reward and why Suicide Ganking is, or is not balanced.
I tried to SHOW you what you would not HEAR, that this is friendly advice given in the spirit of playing a game, according to it’s rules.

How balanced would risk/reward be for MY current form of PVP, trading, if Suicide Ganking was nerfed as the OP and yourself suggest? I made c. 1.1 billion yesterday, for 1 1/2hours ‘work’ and I am merely a baby trader, a little lowly scrub just learning the game. And Patti has not even had to train gunnery skills.

What do you think risk/reward being ‘balanced’ actually means, in practice?

prime example. You really expect people to know everything about the game before they log in? Especially something as obscure as concords reaction times? Wow
There are people with intellect and thoughtfulness, and there’s people like you. We don’t expect people to make smart decisions. We know that most aren’t smart, and CCP’s (and the whole industry’s, actually)marketing tactics are proof enough for that.
What we can expect, is that you know what you sign up for (because not knowing the rules of a game you want to play is dumb, even you will agree to that, right?) and can live with the dumb decisions you make in the game. If you can’t, then that’s solely your problem. This game is for the smart, the daring and the strong-willied. (Hi @Ralph_King-Griffin !) You can learn to grow, or just drop out like all the others before you, who were exactly like you.
On two previous occassions I showed Rod where CONCORD reaction times (and pretty much everything else) count be accessed but these information sources werent good enough for him.
Lots of people have gone out of their way to offer him good advice and help with his ‘problem’
Whether he listens or not is moot because as @yellow_parasol has observed
people like that tend not to stick around
It does not mean the information you posted was not useful to others.
Is @Fabulous_Rod’s performance not a fantastic advert for ‘how to not make friends and influence people’ in eve, and that the cost of suicide ganking is not too low?
Rather than a hall of shame, we should have a separate forum where all the nerf ganking I got exploded threads get moved, when they have run their course, a compendium of sorts.
