The CSM 13 Winter Summit Minutes are out

Traders do not generate isk.

But they earn isk, which is the point of earning ISK while AFK. Also, as you can see from the summit, the ISK they introduce the game is not a problem. The isk SUPERS and CARRIERS introduce is the actual problem.

WAR DECLERATIONS

I don’t think the current war dec system is broken as such, just that the players are destroying it. The current system overall is pretty good but what it needs is some adjustment in key areas.

I joined the war dec discord, but some people did not want me there, it is what it is.

There are a number of important factors to take into account, and the most simple one to attack is to put some skin in the game for war deckers, Jin’Taan had suggested a Propaganda structure, I had suggested adding a CONCORD office to Citadels which allowed the entity to have more than five war decs. The number above five would then be linked to the safety of that office. If it was destroyed, all but five war decs drop.

The office would give logon and location details like the locator agent, so help in locating war targets.

But whatever you do, make sure that there are consequences for war deckers other than the remote possibility of losing a bling ship or having to dock up and wait out a fleet that is too much for them.

And keep the RR with suspect flag, however fix the damn suspect flag so it will allow different corps in the same alliance to rep each other and if you are really brave enable people who are war decked by the same aggressor to rep each other.

The suggestions I have put up here will perhaps enable players to change it by in game actions.

Someone else’s isk.
They dont generate even a single isk in trading.

Multi boxing semi-AFK VNI’s is more profitable than carrier ratting

EVE online, where rich get richer, poor get poorer.

If you reach the income scale of a single super, it’s not AFK nor semi AFK anymore.

If they are Omega, it costs more than a single Omega carrier.

Alts pay for themselves after a while by selling skill injectors.

You have a funny definition of ‘at summit’.

Being that I posted that recipe after the summit, when I was at home. The only CCP time involved was Guard adding it to the end of the minutes, and people reading it after they were published.

The CSM dont care about HS wardecs.
Their feedback shows that.
They are quite happy with their material transport to and from HS markets not being interfered with by PvP.

What a valuable contribution to EVE.

How about you share it with the rest of us, or is it CSM/CCP exclusive?

Salvos let it go, walk away mate.

We care a great deal about HS wardecs. We care that they have a negative impact on the people who are least able to deal with them. We care that the most effective counterplay to them is ‘don’t log on’ or ‘leave your corp’. That they, from the stats, appear to drive people out of the game.

And here we have it. Someone who obviously hasn’t read the minutes.

Being that the recipe is at the end of them.

But you just want to Salvos this topic.

Sadly more valuable than your incessant carping. That’s saying something, eh?

I read the notes.
You do not, and wont agree on anything,
Its just monkey wrench after wrench to prevent change.
Nor do you speak for all CSM with a “royal” we.

Nobody gives a ■■■■ about your recipes.
Its embarrassing even one second of Summit time was wasted on that.

Trading is actually an Isk sink due to taxes and fees.

I would say CCP dont care actually. CSM if could, they would clap their ears in terror and CCP would clap back and do nothing…

The simple fact that they had this data and done nothing. Since when they were gathering it, is anybodys guess. The changes to watchlist were long time ago.

A fix to war decs is soooo overdue! Only the wardeccers themselves don’t want change.

Whatever the solution you guys come up with its clear that there has to be increased cost and increased risk for aggressors and the mechanic needs to somehow force them to take fights away from gates and station undocks.

There also needs to be a way for defenders to “win” and end the war earlier than scheduled.
