I came back after a long time not playing eve and was wondering about why all null sec belts are empty and only some rats where there but no asteroids.
I was quite sure it have to be a bug but now i dont know anymore. Is it considered gameplay mechanik that all 14 belts in one system and all sourrounding systems are permanently empty? And the warp in is even still available just no Asteroids? I read we can kill some mining squad to get them coming back but since i am back ingame i try to find the squad. But I never found it at least not in null sec. So the only options are quite distant arkonor and bistot asteroids in anomalies.
Under this circumstances null sec mining is just fairly annoying and seems to be buggy as hell.
How does this survive a quality check and which fixes are planned in future? Why was it necessary to destroy a enjoyable gameplay style and make it only viable in high sec or low sec?
I like to switch between ratting mining and pvp so now i can just choose two of them.
You have to mine anoms in null. There are no asteroids in the belts of any of the systems I live in either.
Mildly annoying, but this is the phase of starvation, according to ccp.
What is it that needs attention?
The fact that I have 30 alts, or that I mine every moment Iām awake?
I can even mine when Iām asleep, by setting my miners to 1 laser or drone per rock. The rocks last longer that way, so I can sleep peacefully, knowing Iām still productive.
The chances of being ganked are slim, as I chose highsec systems that donāt get much, if any traffic.
Obviously 23/7 is an exaggeration. It is more to highlight my point.
I“d say that this is the part needing attention. CCP has stated that low attention gameplay is on its sights, that“s why they are touching AFK cloakcamping, for example.
But your activities are plain, confessed, bot-aspirancy.
It“s almost like if a bot were using a human to do its work.
Excuse me?! I BUILD WHAT I USE! Not Null sec! I worked bloody hard to build my own ship, equipment and ammunition. To say everything everyone ever uses is all built in nullsec is dillusional.
Please explain to me how Iām botting if Iām either at the keyboard, or set my alts to a specific activity that requires no attention, and go to sleep.
They drift in space doing nothing for some hours until downtime. If they get attacked, I have alarms set up so I can wake up and do whatās needed, and set them back to mining.
Everyone can set shield alarms. Itās not botting.
I donāt use any input broadcasting software either. Itās all by hand, using multiple large screens.
As for the comment about low irl skill gameplay. I challenge you to successfully operate 30 mining alts in highsec and 6 alts in null sec without losing a single ship.
Tell me how little skill it takes to be efficient and productive.
Bless you my friend⦠somebody has got to mine the minerals with some degree of scale, given the level of destruction in this simulation. I have a hard time keeping one itty bitty Prospect safe in the face of Null without an alliance supporting me.
people like you harm the game thx god ccp and that bright young man hilmar clearly has a different opinion from you . CCP is doing a great job with its brilliant ideas ., and is making the game healthy again.
Hope that the jump animation, home station stuff anf fleet thingies have not eaten up all the budget for this quarter, because we were really awaiting some progress in the resource distribution and ecosystem balanceā¦
Why are there no ores in ore anomalies? I visited three in low sec, and theyād all been stripped presumably by NPCs. Shouldnāt they disappear and respawn somewhere else? Also alot of systems have been stripped bare. Again, I presume by NPCs. How can miners be encouraged to move out to low sec when thereās no ore?
Are you implying CCP created the resource scarcity devblog and reduced spawns of ore in asteroid belts and ice anomalies, only because they werenāt able to reprogram NPC miners to mine ore anomalies?
Can I have some of the spare tinfoil you have? I may need to make myself a hat too to be able to follow this train of thoughts.
No, I didnāt say anything like that. The first statement in my reply was in reference to somebody suggesting that NPC Mining Fleets may have mined out Ore Anomalies.
The second statement in my reply is questioning the quality of CCPās programing changes and due to more and more bugs constantly showing up with each release, Iām starting to question the validity of their statements.
Sorta like when something unforeseen and unintentional happens due to something somebody does, instead of saying āMy Badā and making it right, they just say āOh, I meant that to happenā and just leave it as is.
But hey, go ahead and read into it whatever you want. The only tin-foil hat youāre seeing is whatās already on your own head.
Miniers, its time we unite and walk away from EVE until CCP reverts the ore changes. Everyone that is pissed off needs to unsub and stop letting CCP scam them. If we work together we can change that path of EVE and save it from the worse game DEVS to walk the face of Earth.
