That could just be future proofing, or setting for new areas of space. Or hoboleaks trolling of us by CCP.
Till it actually gets implemented we won’t know what the extent of these changes actually are.

This would be interesting if capitals could enter a system that has been downgraded.
And what if said system was of strategic value to one of the big alliance’s would they foil any attempt to recover the system.
If the jump gate is offline like the video suggests that could make travel somewhat difficult.
And how would you enter ? Scan your way in ?
What would happen to to all the structures inside ? intriguing possibilities

Just take the capitals out of low-sec entirely.
Why are they even there to begin with? With their presence, low-sec isn’t all that different from null, so a reasonable progression of tiers of space doesn’t even exist. Low-sec would be better served by being a place without conventional NPC police protection, but also a place where you’re not afraid to fight back because the second you do, someone is going to drop 120 bored titan pilots on you.

They thankfully won’t be able to, due to cyno jammers.
I did see someone post on Reddit that they should allow caps to jump in to these formerly hisec systems as long as they’re instantly met by a Trig fleet that perma-scrams and eventually kills them. Honestly though it’s a good thing that these places will be cynojammed. I thought we all hated supers, right? Shouldn’t we not want them to be in more areas of space?
Last decade called. They wanted to let you know capitals can use gates.
I hear they can even dock in stations now.

I’m aware. I’m sure CCP is not going to allow caps in to Trig-invaded systems that way either. No one’s going to have supers in hisec.

they already stated end game here would be eventually no more high sec systems left all will eventually fall/convert to low/null for a better more engaging game and more content for all.
Dreads are useless to small fleets anyway.

Judging from the trailer for Eclipse, (there were capitals fighting), they may allow capitals in those lowdowned systems.
