Declining a heavily-compensated challenge from someone (in a consensually-competitive environment) after making bold claims about himself is pretty shameful behavior, so his subconscious had to frame this as something âbeneath himâ in order to enable him to cope with it mentally. He will now remember this as a âgreat victoryâ against me, even while the rest of the community ridicules him for his behavior. This is why heâll keep bringing it up over and over again, despite the fact that not only were my terms favorable to him, but I agreed to his terms as well.
Modern cognitive science would label this as a sign of stress-induced mental trauma.
Iâm not too happy about this outcome, but really, he should have someone in his life who is able to pull him away from this game when things turn out that way, because the trauma will just snowball otherwise. When I got too heated up over games or sports and my friends pulled me away, it allowed me to calibrate my perspective and improve myself as a person. But it doesnât look like he has anyone in his life who looks over his actions here and tells him that heâs erring. Itâs kind of sad, actually.

When people are resorting to personal attacks rather than the matter at hand one knows that they are running away from the discussion. The simple fact is that you as a war deccer are unable to war dec says it all, that is the most obvious issue you have.
You frame this challenge as a means to state that you are better in the forums for some reason, you believe that any victory in this validates your position.
I make it clear it does nothing of the sort, and frame your challenge as so pathetic by stating that I will give you a silly kill just to point out how meaningless it is and how little I think of it.

You should take the challenge, and ask other people what they think about it. And by that I donât even mean ask other EVE players; ask some people who have nothing to do with EVE, who donât know me, and are completely impartial, what they think about the challenge, and what they think about how you responded to it.
The results might surprise you.

What do EVE wars have to do with where someone lives in real life?
Everything, can you shoot someone if he is not online? Knowing the target TZ is very important. When we look at Ganker perches we check the vulnerability timers first to see if it suits our TZ. I came across so many war deccers that blanked decced people without checking this most basic intel.
So having a good idea of where someone actually lives defines pretty much their play time. I also find it good at least superficially to know certain cultural drivers that affect their thinking. For example I operated in Stain, so I made sure to understand the best way to deal with Russians there, due to that I developed common ground relationships with some.
Your cultural drivers ooze from every post you make.
