Geez get a room you two
That’s just it. This IS the room.
Get your own room, this one is mine.
So what ? I could easily have a kill score of 100 if I went after Ventures like Gix, or the Velators that seem to endlessly hang around 21km from gates. I’m far too busy getting my Catalysts to 700 DPS and my Tornado to 70km range.
I’m glad I waited. A few extra weeks or months to reach level V skills is worth it.
I don’t believe you.
That happens automatically. How does it keep you “busy”? Sound to me like you are just pretending to play EvE.
Don’t underestimate the mighty venture, could easily pop your tornado

Not really…just playing the long game. Building up enough ships so that its a mere trifle if I lose one. Spending time checking out ship fittings…for example I now have the Arbalest fitted Caracal mentioned a week or so ago…less DPS but greater range. Checking out the Punisher as a potential baiting ship ( I’ve decided a Nereus is better ). Hauling stuff about…learning all about the market and what sells well and what doesn’t. Checking out setting up a corp. Today I’ll be travelling to Amarr to set up a jump clone…and also travelling in the opposite direction to Oipo so my alt can pick up a Thrasher handed over from Cilla. So…actually quite busy.
Why are you telling me?
Because you don’t do a very good job of being totally disinterested
Off hand, I recall my Tornado has an EHP of around 20K, and the Venture without any shield or armour mods is around 1.5K. In fact I could alpha shot your ‘Cilla Killer’ from 50km away.
I’ve never finished an elder scrolls game or a fallout game. I get too obsessed with “levelling up” and side quests to actually go and interact with the main story.
Then inevitably i get bored and go do something else. Then when i come back to the game months later i have forgotten where i am and what i was doing so inevitably just roll a new character and promise myself that this time ill do the story. But no……….that levelling up takes hold again and off i go doing pointless stuff and the cycle repeats.
And this shortcoming has followed me into many games including Eve. Because you know……….that 28 day train for an extra 2% damage is totally essential to be able to enjoy everything the game has to offer.
Seriously. Don’t be me.
Lesson 1: You can’t kill what you can’t hit.
It’s actually mine but you’re all welcome
Cheeky
I wouldn’t need to. With 20K EHP there’s no way your Cilla Killer is gonna kill me on its own before Concord show up. So I win either way. Different strategy in low or nullsec.
You will notice that it is the same individuals that propagate in just about every thread… tantamount to bums on skid row… nothing left to do with life but to infect the forums with their presence. Your best course of action is to roll past the endless walls of text they produce… kind of like ignoring children… This is how they play eve… here in the forums, but not in the actual game.
Such positivity.
This place is the best source of intel in Eve. It can be an invaluable part of playing Eve.
Personally, I spent 7 hours last night ‘in’ Eve.
But did you undock?
