I can definitely say that Aiko is a very ethical consumer of mining barges. When she butchers a Covetor or a Mackinaw, after efficiently delivering the final blow to ensure as little suffering as possible, she makes sure to use the whole mining barge, without needlessly letting anything go to waste. The wreck is then opened, and the loot sectioned and appropriated to all participants according to their personal needs. The wreck itself is salvaged, with the salvage going toward the manufacture of hybrid collision accelerators to be used in subsequent hunts. Any ore present in its cargo hold is carefully collected and refined like fine caviar, to be used for the manufacture of Catalysts in the future. Even the frozen corpse yolk is collected from the broken egg of a capsule, which brings the children much joy.
The entire process is actually very humane and organic. She doesnât just pop off a few rounds into a Hulk and then leave it to suffer.

You mentioned it first so it evidently made an impression on you, though they did not dock up, they stopped shooting the structure and went back to Jita. As per normal I am detailing an actual moment that was funny and surprising, but it seems to have got up your nose.

Take this thread, it is to say that resisting gankers can be done and it can be effective. What Githanyâs corp did is way more impressive then firing up 20 alt accounts like gankers do, they actually formed up 20 different people. That is impressive at this point.

It is the saddest thing ever to observe a beta desperately try to act like an alpha in front of a whole bunch of people who easily see whatâs going on, but the sunk cost fallacy has kicked in to such a degree that the person just canât stop.

Because the current system in place makes it impractical for a player who prefers solo activities to engage in this sort of gameplay without necessarily scaling up operations to include large-scale collective defense. Being a solo player, it would be impossible for me to defend a structure without invoking costs that are unreasonably excessive.
