The OP is running a competition. You were the one talking about the job being to stop them, fact is I stop so many ganks by merely sitting a HIC at a gate. As I said loot denial is what wins.

I think that there is a special type of madness on display by ganker and ganker aligned players like yourself that insist on proof for something that you cannot verify, keep drinking the kool aid.
The OP decided that was the objective and rules in terms of his competition, you decided rather foolishly that this was the job of AG. I agree with him in terms of the competition that he is running. In regards to AG, our strategy is first and foremost loot denial on hauler/freighter gankers and not to save the immediate victim. You can bluster all you want, but you are talking out of your rear end.
All those war decs that had no kills on them. Yeah right, your ignorance is massive as per normal.

Just to clear the air (if needed), when I said the job of the AG’er to stop the gank, that was strictly in relation to this little event. I was in no way was making a declaration of fact or opinion in the broader sense.
HS is an ecosystem where both the ganker and anti-ganker are needed in the current (and past) “meta”. IMO the AG’ers need a bit more encouragement and if this event does that even in a tiny way, great.

The thing to remember also is those losses are only the ships caught by the AG’ers and many more go BOOM strictly to CONCORD. That number is actually much higher.
I think that this is a great idea.
I happen to think reducing the gankers free movement to search for victims is also pretty key too and this competition helps a lot.
As an observation, AG just does not have the number of active members to save a freighter, except when a certain multi-boxer AG is active. That is the reality of the situation and this is so correct:
In that we need more people to resist gankers.
PS There is no shame in admitting that AG does not have the numbers. It is the current situation.

Actuallt the vast majority are from failed ganks with the victim or his alts whoring and nothing to do with ag. the ganks would have failed either way by the look of it ,whether by going in short of dps or a couple cats freezing up in warp to gank which happens a lot.
The only real ag kills are the ones by drakvlad catching my -10 thrasher on perimeter gate.
