No you idiot. Capitalism does not mean let businesses do whatever they want. Time to get your alt out kiddo.
Thatâs because you have no idea what you are talking about, therefore you donât understand my point either.
There are people like that in all countries, while the US may have more its because of how most of them are raised. Iâve been there a few times and Iâve seen first hand the love they have for their country⌠hell they even raise their flag at kids swim meets and everyone gets up n places their hand on their heart. Their love of food is to much though, they have the highest obesity rate in the world.
An irony
What is âitâ?
Yeah but it does though
Hear hear.
US Citizens think they have the right to determine and dominate the rest of us. THis is a fallacy that is surely shown by their choice of commander in chief of their military.
Does no one realize that in the 90s Clinton and congress decided on a hands off approach to the Internet? People are acting as if there had been regulation for the last 20 years. Where were you all ( the weâre all totally screwed people) during that whole time?
Do tell, do you want a regulated market, or a free market? The pinnacle of capitalism is a market free of any and all regulation. By your own words, that is exactly what you want, yet you also say you want government regulation to impose a equal playing field for everyone, which goes against your true capitalism.
I mean, youâre so god damn uneducated on the subject that itâs really surprising nobody called you out on it yet.
Itâs not at all a fallacy. Look at their internal and foreign politics, their history, their actions and their viewpoint they spread all around.
Trump with his America First is the embodiment of their believe in superiority. That the orange head is a driveling idiot is by no means any proof against the USâ view on the rest of this planet, itâs proof for it. If they werenât as badly educated as they are, stuck in their believes of supreme superiority, then perhaps theyâd be able to understand why the majority outside the US hates the US with a passion. If theyâd care (which I highly doubt) is another question entirely.
Maybe I should have said âThey think they can judge whats right for the rest of usâ, as that would be the incorrect conclusion, given their choice etc
What choice?
Voting against GoldmanSachs Clinton and for Trump, who promptly put more GoldmanSachs into legislative power than Clinton could ever have.
Calling child molestation victims out as the actual criminals because they did not immediately file charges against a politician.
Believing that companies do the right thing when even the recent history of the last 3 years is littered with examples how powerful companies abuse their power over government, consumers and society at large.
Only 3 things doubting the capability to make correct choices for the large parts of the US population.
As for ISPs:
And so on, and so forth. The general incompetence runs very deep in the US at the moment.
We do, but it is way weaker than it should be and technically also allows for fast lanes and the European Parliament voted down more stringent rules.
Still donât get it do you, clown.
There just isnât anything to get. You do not understand the subject youâre commenting on and because youâre so god damn uneducated you believe the fault on that lies with others instead of yourself (-> Dunning Kruger).
ISPs in the US have a monopoly position thatâs further entrenched with heavy lobbying. Itâs literally impossible for them to die off until that changes. Net Neutrality has nothing at all to do with that. Net Neutrality means they have to treat all traffic equal, not more.
So I seriously donât get how you managed to pull your
out of your ass. THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH EACH OTHER!
You donât understand the point I was making, thatâs all that is happening here clown.
The point I was making is that net neutrality shouldnât be repealed simply as a favour to certain business in order for them to make more money. I used the term âtrueâ capitalism to differentiate from the version in operation at the moment, where the highest bidder makes the rules. I used the term âdying offâ to make the point that companies should adapt or fail, instead of being saved at the expense of others, I was not saying that any companies will die as a result. If net neutrality is bad news for some, itâs tough â â â â .
It wasnât a hard point to grasp, unless itâs you reading of course, and the absolute accuracy of the terminology is not the important part of the message, and as usual itâs the most unimportant parts you decide to jump on for no other reason apart from trying to get one up on somebody. Like I said youâre PATHETIC.
In your âtrue capitalismâ, lobbying isnât necessary and you would also be even worse off than youâre in your current somewhat-regulated market. But of course you couldnât think that far.
You say something and then in the same sentence say that what you just said isnât actually what you said. Mind-blowing!
I beg to differ. When I mean yellow, I say yellow and not blue. Yellow and blue arenât quite the same thing. Just like âfullâ and âpartialâ arenât. Well, unless of course itâs you thatâs posting.
Interesting that you consider your âpointâ in its entirety unimportant. Then why even post in the first place? Oh I know, because you think you understand something when you actually donât get anything at all! You know what we call that?
Itâs not that hard to understand. Youâre doing this on purpose now so whatever.
Accuses me of something, proceeds to do it himself in the very next post. I didnât bother enough to check above if youâve already done it before, but Iâm almost certain you did.
Youâre right, Dunning Kruger really doesnât do you any justice. Youâre worse.
Now? Iâve been doing this on purpose since my first post in this thread. If I were after a remotely intellectual discussion, I wouldnât have posted on the EVE forums, but a more appropriate medium.
Iâm genuinely surprised you managed to catch on at all. My point still stands. You still have zero clue what you talk about, what capitalism is and what net neutrality is about. Go and educate yourself.
Okay here is the deal. I have been following this thread since it was made, I have been reading every message. I just got to my computer for the first time today, and I saw a large number of reports and even more inappropriate posts. As such I have removed over 10 replies.
I will continue to monitor this thread, if this conduct continues I will close this thread very quickly and escalate certain people to the community team.
