Mine is a Dell Latitude E7450

I did a quick search on amazon and found some batteries for around $50 and some other websites that sell aftermarket batteries for around $100

If she speaks and writes Russian fluently, she can enable Russian phonetic keyboard on her English OS(assuming). It works for me and Ит изънт мач хардър ден ту райт уит а нормъл кийборд.

Yes, but I graduated in systems analysis and design with 99% and I am going for a masters degree to design computer hardware to make robot to dig on the moon.
She doesn’t have to learn that, I’d have to pay her for it, and it’s cheaper for her to get a Russian system instead.
Also, she wants a bachelor of art if she didn’t complete it.

New project.
Operation: Beefy Drift

Insert: Trashed frame

I’m gonna make solid the frame and keep all the drift features. Raise the seat a bit and push it back for adults (and kids ofc) We should sit just above the batteries keeping all weight nice and centered.

Insert: More power

Scored these puppies from an electric wheelchair found in trash. 24 volts too. Just what I needed.

Insert: New controller

Amazon is quite the jungle. Fitting name tbh. I’ll grab an old pc fan and wire it to a smaller 12v battery isolated from the main system and use a spare charger to keep it topped. Should give us around 5 more minutes of ride time per cycle. Maybe more.

So far I only have around 40 rl isk invested and a bit of time. I hope to have pics of the new motor soon. The current one is rated at 280 watts which is plenty for drifting (roughly 1/3 hp) but I seek to swap tires for other applications. This is lookin to be a fun and cheap build. Just my type.

To Be Continued…

Wow! just wow, Makavi Madeveda and lilsteel you two are intense. To think my moon base post would cause such a strife, i worry that had it been in RL there would have been fisticuffs… :open_mouth:

Some reasons it’s better not write about personal info is because a lot of people try to cause loss of control of info.

It can also be used to discuss about thoughts not related to real life.
It’s similar to dreams about what is unreal.

Unfortunately, that can only work when someone is in good contact with reality.
It can lead to illness and loss of control when intention to make lose control and good contact with reality occur from parties with interests in conflict, or , whose interests are at stake, or, even , when info gets too close to reality , in some case.
That’s bound to be, when their goal is to write about other things than real life, and all facts related to this are left out of the equation and dealt with on other channels.

Of course, Euler’s equation deals with this, however, the relations are somewhat intended with other goals.
It can be applied to this (to not discuss or express real life info).

I will edit my previous posts to remove real life info, and even medically sound info, since it is applicable to real life info.

I’m also going to be busy with other things than posting on the forums for sanity.

Also: learning to walk starts taking little steps…

As crude as it is, it’s teleoperation of a robot with VR controls, in real time. Maybe in 20 years we will look back at videos like this saying “this is how it started, can you believe that?”
