The like and get likes thread II

Upon review, it seems that

Cranfield University at Shrivenham

only is for Defense, and with the Ministry of Defence, even for international students requiring a Visa.
There is not enough information on this, and it would require more details to find out.
The info related to online courses seems to be missing or not be complete as well…

That would leave Georgia Tech as the only civilian organization to do this, except maybe some others in Europe, one of which I know of, although it may not be done directly.
There is also another European place, but they are not European, since it’s a global organization designed by Eisenhower and allies.

I’d ride it if possible.

The acronym WoF sounds a bit canine

I suppose they had to change sound to these songs because someone few blocks away was making a lot of noise shooting tank cannon and murdering police and players in dozens.

Timezone everyone :kissing_heart:

Do not be surprised if you started to lose bit pieces of intellectual property here and there and elsewhere.

If you build AI and lost control of it, we’d be at war against it, according to the Geneva convention.

It may be valuable to know that, after the Second World War (WWII), the value of the money was adjusted into US dollar as a fiat currency, with all other values being related to it.

It looks like a pitbull head that didn’t get candy, from the front of the head.

EDIT:
How far Nvidia GeForce has come is simply incredible. And we yet take computer graphics for granted.

No, not that. This.

Quark was a 1977 sci-fi comely. Barely last one year. Who figured?

Hehe, that show would cause so much triggering if made now.

I didn’t knew the LifeInvader HQ had an interior, actually:

So much detail. Awesome map!

That series was actually broadcast in Spain. I have vague memories of seeing it, specially the title: “La escoba espacial” (Space broom), which is about as camp in Spanish as it is in English.

Anyway it’s surprisnigly late and I should be in bed already, so, I will say: nighties lovelies!

Also: the first recorded “Oh f***” ever (1885)

My ancestor died 3 years after that.

My Google Chrome just upgraded and I don’t like it.
I like it better before.

Speaking of old TV series, Buck Rogers is something i’d like to see again. I think it would be awesome with todays film tech…

May be some exotic stuff for you, but I actually know the taste of most of it. Only some very russian culinary stuff like caviar is a mystery for me, still.

caviar is no good, it’s for my cat soup.

Asteroids kinetic potential is not as we often think it is.
It can go through solid, depending on speed, and kinetic energy, and destroy the earth.
It would take extremely powerful systems to be able to prevent even the weaker systems (not necessarily smaller) to damage us.

Best caviar is always expensive. It also depends whether you purchase from somewhere near a sea or in the middle of land. I like how in some countries they make potato chips with caviar flavor. On the other hand, there are vegan caviar varieties which I haven’t tasted yet.

On an unrelated note: I wasn’t aware how strict CCP’s policy was against harassment and threats. I’ve been harassed on and off these last 10 years in EVE. I’ll definitely report when it happens again.

How I hate seeing that face.

Another day, another beddy time. Nighties lovelies!

Also: when it’s too good to be true… as in RL as in EVE

Ok, correct me if I’m wrong, but if you are training at a new job, you do not bash the policy in front of the person training you. Is that just something that is becoming normal?
