A leitmotif or leitmotiv is a “short, constantly recurring musical phrase” associated with a particular person, place, or idea. It is closely related to the musical concepts of idée fixe or motto-theme.

leitmotiv, leitmotive ou leitmotivs

nom masculin

(allemand Leitmotiv )

The tragic story is of the adulterous love between the Cornish knight Tristan (Tristram) and the Irish princess Iseult (Isolde, Yseult, etc.).

The name Tristan is a Celtic baby name . In Celtic the meaning of the name Tristan is: Tumult; outcry. From the Celtic name Tristan . In Arthurian legend Tristan was a Knight of the Round Table and tragic hero of the medieval tale Tristram and Isolde.

Nice concept, but as an archeologist said, “10 minutes with a stone tool will teach you all you need to know about why they dropped it for metallurgy”. Yes, they work, same as pushing your car with your feet would work… but stone tools are no match for metal.

LOL, makes you feel sympathy for those colonists(?) gathering wood. I used to ened a lot of wood to build as many watchtowers as possible to lure the enmy into them and passive-defense wipe his units. Specially with the civlizations who had cannon towers…
