From some of the comments, looks like the guy shot his own foot by polishing each little feature to “release” grade before moving into the next little feature -rather than build a unpolished version of everything and then iterate it once it’s crude but functional. Otherwise you might end in development hell or Star Citizen.

Yes, I work on my own projects for over 25 years going on over 35 years.
I can’t say it’s not tiring and that it’s not good to be tired.
No games though.
I don’t do that for fun or luck.
It’s like when I have to design systems to deal with communication problems interfering against my work to benefit others.

That was a toy… and this is the real thing. This still is a prototype, but the company is working hard to develop this new way of erecting large wind turbines in the 3-4 megawatt range; this prototype is 160 meters tall.
They claim it’s 10-20% cheaper than conventional towers of the same size, and by using smaller components it’s easier to transport to distant/unprepared locations.

Not entirely eco-friendly those rotos tho. 
I wonder if they could make those smaller and with recyclable materials and cheaper, so every farm could have one.
