It could be sloppy coding. Coders and software engineers are always on a strict deadline.

hands down.

It depends how thoroughly the code is tested. If they knowingly put faulty self-driving cars on the streets, then the people in charge need to stand trial for manslaughter at least.
This accident was entirely avoidable and it only happened because of Uber’s hostile work culture.
It’s also Uber. They constantly make negative headlines. Something like this happening was only a matter of time, really. Modern software is highly complex, but safety-critical software needs to pass the same safety checks that other engineering projects need to pass.
Nobody in his right mind would claim that medical software that works most of the time (about 90%) and is acting weird in all other cases, resulting in the death of the patient, is “good enough”. That software would never be certified.
Safety-critical software needs to be mathematically proven and pass rigorous tests. But that’s expensive, it’s way easier and cheaper for Uber to just go trial-by-error and kill a few unimportant pedestrians in the process. That’s also why they were testing in Arizona, because there they didn’t need any license to do so.
Theere is a nice phrase from this article about flat earthers.
Now, everybody has the power to create and share content.
Wow, that’s kinda big! I hope there will be some more detail about how did the software fail to cathegorize properly the victim… mayba wa smoving too slow? Maybe the software made some assumptions that proved false in this case, thus leading to error? Maybe there’s a valuable lesson in this disgrace. Self-driving it’s an unknown, unmarked land, like the early years of aviation. Maybe was shoddy coding or maybe there’s a legitimate cause…
Imagine another one like this but with the scene with the guy who wants his right to be a mother… just subtitled as how he wants to walk in stations.
And now, I’m off to bed. Last night I had one of my funny dreams and i’m still trying to make sense of it. I’ve had three dreams in the last months (or maybe last year) with a certain theme so guess that’s the subconscious talking to me but the message… woah, it’s messed up.
Nighties lovelies!
Also: it’s still a prototype but looks like a good take on self-driving
Good night, lovelies.
They even made new lipstick that looks like spaghet now.
I disagree.
The dog may get a medal and more merit scientifically.
Waymo’s self-driving cars can drive on average for 5.600 miles without requiring driver intervention. Uber cars manage 13 miles. Uber’s self-driving cars had no business being anywhere near something that isn’t a test track. The only lesson here is that Uber’s reckless “move fast and break things” attitude cost that woman her life.
Eve is cool
Good day, lovelies.
Thats no big deal, i think the child wil not only ask questions like mother but will actually seek answers. Like from where is all that water that is sky? Lets just say that childrens are hard to satisfy with bull .
Politicians. Stupid monkeys no matter where they are.
BOOM. Like me please.

Good night,lovelies.
Well, I haven’t been called a lovely since that terrible incident with a dominatrix. One word of advice, use a 1-syllable safety word. Depending on their level of brutality…it can save your life!
