The like and get likes thread II

I was checking out The Walking Dead Season 1 video game. Graphics are not horrible. The gameplay is much like Life Is Strange. I only played it for 30 minutes so I can’t yet say whether it is a good game or not just yet.

Time for bed.
Good night, lovelies.

48-in. (1,219 mm) Load Center
148-in. (3,759 mm) Wheelbase

All machine controls are Taylor Integrated Control Systems
(TICS) using J1939 CANbus technology. This allows controllers
and sensors to communicate with minimal wiring between the
components. I/O modules are used to eliminate
electromechanical relay devices and add reliability to the
machine control system. J1939 CAN bus technology allows all
machine data to be accessed through the main color display
located in the cab. This display shows engine data along with
warnings, and man/ machine interface data. The display allows
service personnel to access data needed during troubleshooting
(such as sensor status and controller outputs). Machine
functions can be tuned through the main display in the cab.
Tuning functions are password protected to prevent operator
access.

Although the Apollo missions had much less computing power than a modern smart-phone the computers used where essential to getting it done Although many think it was the Apollo Guidance Computer or AGC that did everything there was another, the Launch Vehicle Digital Computer or LVDC. This controlled and flew the Saturn and was used right up until the vehicle reached the moon, in this video we look at the forgotten Apollo computer. In case you want a few more details on the LVDC and the launch guidance system the NASA document I used in the video is here https://ntrs.nasa.gov/archive/nasa/ca…

Time to go to sleep. We’re experiencing a heat peak and temperature outside right now it’s 28 effin degrees C -at midnight. I’m considering to run the AC all night, but I’m afraid it might lower temperature too much while i am asleep. So guess I’ll just program it to shut down after a couple of horus and then I’ll wake up sweating or similar too darn early.

At least I have AC so, I count my blessings.

Nighties lovelies!

Also: can somebody notice something wrong with this?

It’s a good example of why flying cars won’t be a thing anytime soon. Can you imagine living by a place where hundreds of these giant bees went up and down all day?

“Where do you live?”
“BZZZZy the BZZZZying BZZZZachine BZZZZite!”

If they land close to where you want to go, they’re hell for the neighbors. If there’s not (many) neighbors to be bothered with noise, chances ae you won’t be willing to got there anyway, OR you’ll need a second ride… factor in energy and technology and ENERGY costs and the whole flying car thing is dead on the water.

(Final nail on the coffin is density. Each flying car would need a MASSIVE safety bubble around it, there is no way to pack them as tightly as cars -and their operation atlitude, as roads, would effectively be a 2D grid).

We often regret what we don’t do rather than what we do, because what we do it’s a closed thread of our mind, whereas what we didn’t do is still open. It takes a lot of effort to close a thread without finishing it, and often it’s just a false ending… whereas a thread can be abandoned harmlessly if something else draws our attention.

Some issues are issues just because we think about them.

And now i’m off to bed. Nighties lovelies!
