Today I randomly remember that geese will shout “ang, ang, ang” meaning “where are you?” and the proper response is “gan, gan gan”, “I am here”. Well, technically the guy who wrote it up said it as “Wo bist du?” and “Ich bin hier”. Probably was Irenaus Eibl-Eibelsfeldt. I read his book “Love and hate” without knowing what ti was about or who he was and 30+ years ago it opened my eyes and shaped my understanding of how those concepts work in human societies. We love what we know because we’re used to it and it makes us confident. What we don’t know, we first are worried about it, then we fear it and then we hate it, but it’s up to us to decide whether we remain ignorant or learn of what we don’t know.
And those who choose to remain ignorant, I’m both afraid and hateful of them… but not because I don’t know them.

Turned 65 last Saturday! I still have hair and it’s not grey! 
Mum lived till 104 and only passed away last year. Looks like your stuck with me for a while longer…
