Wow, that tornado was scary! Specially not having blinds on the windows -not the weak stuff they have, but actual blinds, running on a rail utside of the window and (at my parents’) made of aluminum with a foam core. Like this:
Keeping the sun outside of the house is a serious matter in Spain. And guess it would stand a little against a weak tornado…better than a glass alone.
Also: Nikola Tesla used to run into promising concepts which just were beyond technology past, present and future…

Yes, tornado looks like some nightmare that spilled into real life. Especially the moment just after removing the blinds to see speeding up destruction of everything, roof being turned into small bits and that rotating tornado core appearing just few meters from window before it hit the glass with some debris.

When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Aura comes to me … via YouTube.
She reminds me of the true nature of EvE, sometimes in subtle ways, as in this video.
I’m not particularly fond of Gallente ships per se, but the general feel of this visual and musical art piece captured the (dark) soul of the game quite well, even though it’s a simple exposé of ships accompanied by haunting space music. Just a reminder from a non-bitter vet - one who also wishes for that atmosphere to come back in full force.

Haha, yeah, kinda. I never heard her say that, I joined EvE too late.
But I was privy to her slightly bored and disinterested voice confirming my ship commands. And even that simple aspect was a subliminal message that prepared pilots for the inevitable fate of all ships in the end, a warning about the harsh nature of New Eden 
It was part of the game. And it really has to come back, well, if it were me who made those decisions. Alas.

Several days ago I hit level 60 on my draenei hunter. I accomplished this feat in 5 days and 8 hours, w̶h̶i̶l̶e̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶o̶r̶i̶g̶i̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶w̶o̶r̶l̶d̶ ̶r̶e̶c̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶h̶e̶l̶d̶ ̶b̶y̶ ̶J̶o̶a̶n̶a̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶5̶ ̶d̶a̶y̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶2̶0̶ ̶h̶o̶u̶r̶s̶.̶ I looked it up and it is actually 4 days and 20 hours. Huh, memory is a trickster. I am now level 63, but leveling 60 to 70 takes longer than 1 to 60.
