You’re lucky, I’ve only seen all that in pictures. But it shouldn’t be too hard to convince my uncle to take me on a road trip there next time I cross the Atlantic.
Lets hope tomorrow is better than today.
Murphy had his hand all over me today… Almost slammed in the back of a semi truck, cause a towtruck in front of it stopped.
Lost my biscuit to the floorboard.
Luckily they were empty, but had boxes fall off my cart. lab person got a chuckle that murphy was involved.
countless dumbasses on the road blocking my van cause there’s a big RED Cross on it.
Didn’t make it to the gym like i wanted, too tired after driving all day… Plus The issue with the delivery app not working right so I was late leaving the distribution center… and had to return to empty the van of the empty boxes i had…
Normally I leave the Red Cross Distribution Center at 9am… it was 930 before I left, and because my van was full, it took me over an hour after that to even leave the one city I was in after visiting the 2 hospitals, and dropping blood off and picking up empties

That’s all you need. She sounds like a wise lady.
I had made sure that m mother has enough to burry me
Stop it. I’m NOT liking that post! A mother should never have to bury her son.
And if you have spots in your eye because of alcohol then you know what to do. Please get help!

Government build housing, not a capitalist way. Something as basic as housing have to be closely monitored and housing built by state, else it undermines the welfare of citizens who else would fall prey to greed of housing developers and big money companies investing in concrete and rental markets, they would need to compete with government cheap housing, key word is cheap, no greed.
Problems would be this big money having politicians in their pocket, and for that reason any contacts of politicians with develpers need to be closely monitored by security branch, and security branch being monitored also by another rivalling security branch.
@Nana_Skalski This is the home that I will have one day.
The first banker shmuck that comes around I bite his head off like Venom.
Perfect setting to do my profession. No music needed to do massage there
I believe there could be a nice, cozy cave somewhere there. As good as it gets if someone wants to store some potatoes or nuts for the winter, or even survive cold weather outside, with some fire it would even be warm and bright enough inside to do some cave paintings. But there seem to be anough wood and rocks to make a good hut.
There’s enough wood for a city of huts but I don’t want any neighbors less 5miles around.
This one seems to have the right stuff.
The thing is that Spain, for complicated reasons, is a home ownership country, and rent has always been minoritary, even public housing was built for selling it (and not a few people made profit from buying public housing at a subsidized price then sell 10 or 15 years later at bubble prices). AirbnB and vacation rental just crashed the rental market, nobody bothers to make long term rent when they can easily earn 30-60% more from vacation rental or sell their flats to big investors, and then there’s the issue that Barcelona has little available land, the city is nested between mountains, two rivers and the sea and all land is expensive. Now the municipalty has engaged in building public housing in land left after removing industrial sites and the such, but we’re talking hundreds of flats for a demand of tens of thousands, they’re just a patch to get affordable housing tor some people but barely will put a dent on the demand, and won’t have an impact on the market since they’re social housing, people can’t just go and ask them. I will give it a try because some units will be assigned through chance, a literal draw on who gets a cheap place and who doesn’t. But it’s better than nothing, I’m not “needy” in the way a single mom or a couple with three chidlren would, I’m not young enough to get housing for the young and not old enough to get programs for elderly and retired people… so, join the program and wait for a lucky draw. Odds ar better than those of winning a big prize of lottery, let alone the kind of prize that would allow me to buy a flat…
…but I buy lottery nonetheless, once a year, for the big lottery draw for christmas, first prize are 400,000 € per winning ticket, that’s 320,000 after income tax which would be enough for a cheap but decent used flat. Lottery prizes used to be tax free but people was laundering money through winner tickets bought for a premium… with tax that’s not as much attractive, I knew a guy who once won a 3,000 € prize and sold the ticket for 3,200 € to a “friend of a friend”…
Chances for the public housing will be higher, though. And at least I have a chance other than wait until my parents die and I inherit… which is a prospect that really drives me mad , I’d rather have parents than a stupid flat, and even better have a home of my own while my parents are still alive.
Damn, that put me in a grim mood… better go to sleep. Night night, lovelies.
Why stay in spain? You can go wherever you wish in the EU. You don’t need a house, just sleep under the stars.
Don’t bother with the lottery , the people that spend the most on it can least afford it, it is just a way of making them richer and you poorer, save the money and treat yourself instead.
Incidentally just been out for a cycle - love riding at night in the cold and dark with the wind in my hair.
I’ve thought about taking my frame in outfit it with all new parts. The frame is cut to be able to install a carbon drive and I think that would be a lot less fuss.
04:30 - Off to go see my sister. I’ve missed her so much!
I will miss logging into EVE for the next 4 days.
My sister just sent me this:
Friend
Boyfriend

Family I love you.
She’s the smart one. I was dropped on my head at birth
