Your profile says you liked me 19 times. I have 190 posts in this thread. Something’s off
Well when I first started posting here on this new thread there was already over 1k messages lol. that would be lots of work!!
I missed a bit during the Google debate fixed!!!
nah, “doing the Falcon” is no myth, has been done several times and even in larger LaGL threads
Thats a mighty big assumption considering that (to my knowledge) we’ve never met. However, I’m game. First, to me, net neutrality isn’t just a black or white/ yes or no topic.
Let me tell you where I stand and you can pigeon hole me as you see fit. I took a few minutes to Google (hehe) what “net neutrality” meant and found a couple of different, although very similar, definitions.
net neu·tral·i·ty
noun
the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites. (source ncta.com)
Net neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers and governments regulating the Internet should treat all data on the Internet the same, not discriminating or charging differentially by user, content, website, platform, application, type of attached equipment, or mode of communication. (first line of Net neutrality Wiki)
In general, I agree that net neutrality is a good thing. I’m not completely sure just how much regulation is done by the government over ISP’s. However, while there is content that I disapprove of, I dont feel that the ISP’s should censure it to consumers.
That being said, should people who use huge amounts of bandwidth be charged more? Certainly. (I know that this was one of the arguments regarding neutrality here was throttling back on the streaming of sites like Netflix.) There was a considerable ruckus when Comcast started capping their data plans at a certain amount each month. I thought the cap was reasonable. If you want more, you pay more. It’s a bit like going to the buffet and paying one fee to feed there all day.
Because the government IS involved in the regulation of cable/ISP’s, it’s where the things get muddy. Are Cable/ISP’s business or public service? Regardless, I want government OUT of it.
Sorry, really rambly thought process here. Sounds much better in my head.
Doing the falcon?
Going thru liking the whole thread, no matter how long it has been going. Named after the first acknowledged doing so, Falken Falcon
Damnnnnnnnnn, that’s some serious dedacation:open_mouth:
Yup, if I remember correctly, that thread was already several hundred pages long if not closer to half thousand
Impressive that’s all I can come up with lol, just damn impressive.
So I went to shop in local shop, I bought two tires for bicycle. When I came to home I saw that one is broken, looked like someone slashed it with knife or something. Poor tire. Had to drive back to exchange it to another, good one.
Fortunately the guy was super nice and exchanged it without any questions or paperwork. They probably just buy it in vietnam for 1/10 of what I had to pay anyway.
Damn, sorry to hear, glad you were able to exchange it! I’d love to be able to bike ride again too, been too long.
Yes, in driving bicycle nothing feels nicer than wind in the back and warm sunny weather and nature around you, We have a nice bike road in forest here. So many bicyclists now driving there, whole families.
Yeah linus, i stopped after about that many and just started liking 1 post per person. #CarpalTunnelHERTZ
I’ll never forget the Walmart I went to in Fresno. It had a whole isle dedicated to Sugar Free Water.
I support Ham and Pineapple pizzas.
Every regular tries to make the consumer shop around and do research for that particular market. Once you add up all the varied things you buy, I just cba half the time. I shop around for the stuff important to me and go for convenience on the rest.
