Anyway, the entire topic about NN isn’t anything that affects me and to be honest I’d rather it’s gone so that you guys over there can see what a “free” market really feels like. When you’re at the mercy of your ISPs, paying insane prices, getting utter crap services in return and because your money isn’t enough they also sell your data and you won’t ever have any chance at all at switching ISPs because the big ones have segmented the market and lobbied the politicians into protecting their monopoly and scum practices with laws.
If it’s going to stifle innovation in the US and maw down start-ups before they have ever any chance at all to get a foothold because they won’t be able to pay the ISPs extortion fee, then truth be told that’s a great thing for the rest of the world. Your current FCC chairman was the former Comcast whatever guy. He’s on their payroll and he’s corrupt as ■■■■. His only goal is making Comcast as much money as possible. But you know what? I’m sitting here in Germany, smiling my ass off and just like everyone else that I know don’t give a ■■■■ about Net Neutrality and the US. From my point of view you guys get to pay the price of your “free” market and corrupt politicians. It’s what you wanted, what you fully embraced. Now you’ve got to pay the price for it.
A few years down the road the US will be as insignificant as it was pre-WW2. That is if there still is a US left by the time the next presidential election is due.

There’s a whole lot of ■■■■ wrong with the EU, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the US. If anything, we have going for us that the rest of the world doesn’t hate us.

Funny you mention it. Because the way I see it, the average US American is so self-entitled and delusional that he doesn’t even know there are other countries on this planet.
The US does whatever it wants, whenever it wants. Invading countries left, right ‘n center, starting wars with lame illogical or no justification, spying on the entire world, holding the worlds’ economy hostage, threatening the global ecosystem. But that still isn’t enough.
America above all else. America first. You even refer to yourself as the god damn continent you share with 29 other nations.

It really shouldn’t surprise you that every other nation on this planet is hating the US.
It’s not nationalism because I never claimed my country is better than someone else’s. Rather I claim the entirety of Europe is better than the US.
Add Russia and Asia to that list too. Oh and Africa.
