The like and get likes thread

Definitely suggest the GOG version which is designed to work past XP. Worth paying extra or waiting for a sale there.

I have XP if i really need itā€¦ but I just saw the page of Fallout 3ā€¦ itā€™s just full of ads for fallout 4, dota, and other crap, sad.

Oh yeah, the windows live issueā€¦ thatā€™ll beā€¦ a thing. oh well, can always mod it or ā€œadd inā€ some stuff.

Canā€™t wait to game again, itā€™s been over a week :expressionless:

EDIT: I canā€™t tell which took longer, fixing it or waiting for the intro to end

EDIT 2: [in compliance with CCP rule of no multiposting] The introā€¦ wasā€¦ very different from new vegas, more personal. SO it is true, FO3 has better story and FONV has gameplay (as well as new and/or better modding potential/capability as a result)

Now that I know what living in a vault is like, it makes me feel bad about what I do in Fallout Shelterā€¦ a little :crossed_fingers:

Timezone o/

I had a dream today. A woman, of course it had to be legitimate egyptian naked goddess, she appeared from nowhere on the street, and started kidnapping every man for her court or something. And every man was running from her. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

I like how fallout 2 started. In a wasteland village, as a tribal, where you had to be tested because elder wanted you to save the village. And you had a few items that were like sacred, from the vault, from the past.

Mornings LAGLers! Today is Thursday and I barely had to think to not mistake its name for Tuesday!

I didnā€™t know you were a reporter IRL,Nana. I hope wearing a spacesuit was a wonderful experience for you. :slightly_smiling_face:

We need LAGL spies in CCP asap. Who will volunteer?

Its not me, its someone else reporting.

Anyway, the spacesuits look nothing like sexy and comfortable. They are silly baloons and you have to wear a diaper. We are still on the beginning of our space exploration so diaper seems like a good symbol of our conquering efforts. :slightly_smiling_face:

It just dawned on me that in my whole life I have probably never had real food. And by real I mean unmodified by human beings (GMO, chemical cleansing, etc.) I now have to wonder if it still really exists, an unmodified seed or the like.

Maybe I have though, I remember the old taste of an orange, sweet, sour, thickish. The ones we eat now taste like milk for some reason.

Games get me thinking too much. Eve get me thinking about start markets, speculation, loopholes, etc. Fallout gets me thinking about microwave radiation consumption, water treatment, and of course GMOsā€¦

goodnight, 3 am, deadline for sleep

Depends on where you live. Gene modification is a really big no-no here in Germany.

Why? You suspect an anti-LAGL conspiracy? Maybe the CSwho is involved? :scream:

I have unmodified strawberries and unmodified cucumbers, they grow in the garden.
Strawberries are very sweet and sour at the same time, like concentrated strawberry taste kind of strawberries, but they look horrible. Small, pale, each one in different shape, pink colored on one side only or partially not developed. That is the look of normal strawberries that have been forever growing in the garden. I dont even remember how they got there.

As for cucumbers, they are from seeds bought in a shop. Grow extra thic because of organic fertilizer.

Yeah, most of UE is more or less hostile to GMOs. Most of them are pretty useless IMO, they just exist to make someone richer.

Others like Golden Rice, though, are clearly beneficial.

But so far in the real world, agriculture in Europe has got more serious trouble. Like being paid 15 cents for fruit whose production cost itā€™s 25 centsā€¦

Didnā€™t get a garden in this year - because my newly purchased home needs everything - but I will next year. Iā€™m planning it out, though, and one conclusion Iā€™ve come to is that I wonā€™t plant anything I can buy at the corner grocery for cheap. Onions, potatoes - both cost something like seven cents each. Cabbage - no. They practically give the stuff away.

Iā€™ll hold out for fruits and vegetables that are hard to get and possibly expensive, like herbs and Asian vegetables. Bok choy and Japanese daikons. Donā€™t have to drive miles to the Asian store for those - just pick them out of the back yard

Yeah, because people are morons. The consumer drones want the cheapest stuff instead of sustainable or beneficial stuff. Itā€™s all about price, price, price under which quality, animals and farmers then suffer. But of course the common consumer drone canā€™t think that far.

It would be funny to watch if there was a power outage for a week or two. Millions of people would die because theyā€™re completely dependable and canā€™t get ā– ā– ā– ā–  done on their own. They canā€™t even think on their own anymore.

But who needs to be able to think when one can be a mindless consumer slave, right?

I just had the most mind-blowing game in Dreadnought. I suicided into the enemy logi and literally handed my team a no-skill-required 100% free win on the silver tablet.

They ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  it up. How can people be THIS ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  BAD?
