I really admired as a kid how big the empire of Portugal was, how it could easily surpass the size of Europe itself. Oh well. Country grew lazy when the Germans lended us a crap ton of money too.

As a child, I was lucky to be left alone when, at the age of 6, I developed a love for diversity and nobody told me that people of different countries or races were “bad”. That rendered me effectively blind to race; I see people, not the color of skin. It is something useful now that I live in a country that’s become rich enough to have inmigrants from all sorts of places. In my childhood, it was very unusual to see asian or african people… that’s one of many things that have changed.
This is a portrayal of Spain as it was 40 years ago, from a legendary clip by a legendary band.

One of the most difficult parts to assimilate about the terror atack in Barcelona last month is that it all points that the terrorists were brainwashed, not because they were Muslim, but because they were young. They were looking for their place in the world as many youngsters do, and what they found was a toxic man, an extremist of the worst kind (one that didn’t dressed or talked like an extremist), and that man brainwahed them in a matter of months, as easily as any sect or radicalism could.
Now they’ve left behind a lot of people wondering who were their sons, brothers, friends, school mates, basketball team mates, and what could have been done, if any, to save them, and with them, all the innocent people they killed. They could have become football hooligans, skinheads or neonazis… and they become terrorists, so fast that nobody noticed.
Compared to the usual road by which ETA enlisted terrorists among Basque youngsters (it used to take years), this case is completey freak.

I vote we enact a system where all people get 1 free murder card. You can cash it in at any time, for literally any one person. This will cause people to consider their actions before being dumb. Because it might actually cost them their life.

The problem is that many “physicians” judge people by what they are rather than what they do, and that has caused endless nasty things. All in all needy people are never welcome, nowhere. But “needy” is a temporary condition, not something they were born with.

I was thinking about that for a long time.
What would you give? Think what you give and to who. If you respect people, if you feel empathy, you will not give them everything, you will even outlaw some behaviors that cause harm to fellow man and to you.
If you would give everyone what he wants, the earth would become hell. Consider a culturally different man, who have been growing in a cruel culture where rape, honor killings and beating of womans is perfectly acceptable behavior if justified with their own, culturally different laws, and he thinks his culture is superior, and he will not give it up because he feels good commiting all those atrocities, he feels good having power that is not questioned. He will fight you if you would want to change him. Dont think of everyone as he would be equal to you, because they are not. There are many nests growing parasites. Why would wise people allow bedbugs into the house? Bedbugs will make nest in the bed, grow, breed, suck your blood and make your life miserable. 
But some people are dumb first, before they even consider something. I think that the vulnerable minds should be patched by implanting them with AI that will override their own consciousness, AI programmed to be like me.
