I recall reading somewhere sometime what was the meaning of this song, but, I can’t remember it. I’m tempted to venture that the lyrics are from a German poem, but maybe I’m mixing it with another song which I know for sure it’s from a German poem…
Anyway, Ish was busy yesterday at GTAO and bought a new toy & attire fitting for it.
The Franken Stange is a hot rod based on the Lincoln Albany. It’s not exactly a daily car but it’s fun to ride.
Nighties lovelies!
This Franken certainly looks St[r]ange.
This hat suits you.

We just read those books at school…
Even better than both of those is Atlas Shrugged. The good thing about all these books is, they make you think hard about the future.

As its halloween, I have something cheerful for contrast.
Random fact: the coco nut (or coco fruit from the coco tree of the coco palm family) was named like this after the Portuguese word for “head”.
Good morning LAGLers!
Huh… I have a very poor opinion of Ayn Rand. “Psychopath” is the least I could say about her.
Apparently the thing is a bit more serious than we thought. CCP Logibro and CCP Manifest are among the people fired, and in their cases it’s not because they were VR people who coudn’t fit into the REK office and EVE Online…
They are firing community developers. Maybe we are too hard to develop.
CCP crew just needs motivation and I think Steve Ballmer can provide it.
And some people talking that CCP Phantom is leaving and CCP Shadowcat, so it looks like there will be no german localization now?
And I am like:
Good night,lovelies…
And without dem lyrics cause the tune is nice by itself too
Well I think if its halloween, than we could listen to something of this kind too.

If CCP is finally going out of business, maybe the community could get the source code for the game, make it single player, or have it built the way everyone wanted. I guess developing for a niche community all these years limits your name and what you can do, like a platform developer trying to make a first-person shooter.
There will be starborne to take up the torch though.
Also, I have been tinkering for days trying to get Eve to run on WSL, apparently they used qtwebengine for their stuff, and sadly qt does not play nice with Linux, I just installed it last night and it has no idea where it is… I guess the programs don’t know to look in the qt5 or qtwebengine folder There was also an accident, I managed to run Unity inside Windows, the DE, not the engine… It had no launcher though, so it looked like…
Soon i will run them in tandem, and there will be no difference between windows and Ubuntu ++insert mad scientist laugh++
Holy crap, no, EvE singleplayer would be more like an X Rebirth game or something lol, and if it ever goes down Starborne is by no means a replacement in style of gameplay, the only similar things Starborne and EvE has is that things take time, but Starborne kicks you in the nuts after a few months and says “Ok, we got winners, now everybody start from zero all over again”
If EvE ever goes out of business I’ma give Chronicles of Elyria a try, somewhat similar in a way but in a more medieval setting with a few interesting mechanics, specially character aging and stuff.
Good morning LAGLers!
That is what i dont like about starborne, lack of persistency. I like how in EVE you can always get back to your stuff. You had a ship? Its is in your hangar like always, You had a fancy hat? Yes, it is there also. You had a citadel? Oooops, but you still have stuff from that citadel in safe place.

Good morning
