Persistence in a PvP game means that you are either the persistent winner or the persistent loser, with higher chances of slipping from winner to loser and almost null chances to become winner after a loss. Just like EVE, but with no chances to not be a part of the PvP contest.
There really is no point to bother with that kind of persistence.
But in EVE you win if you do what you planned or you survive the encounter that could very much end in you losing a lot of stuff. For me even a succesfull escape from guns of hunting me pirate is a win. Especially if I have a lot of stuff in cargo bay.
And I have other of those simple pleasures. Looting a commanders wreck for example, its like opening of presents on christmas.
Another day, one less left to go back to workā¦ enthusiasm level: very low. Specially because, very probably, there wonāt be any real work to do, and thereās nothing worst than being at your work without actual work to fill the timeā¦ and with your boss in a position from where he can see your screen.
Better games were for free. Even EA gave them away. Like I have Deadspace 1 for free.
Thats bad. At least where I sit nobody can see what I do. So I just surf the web, post on EVE forums, read manga for free and all of it using free proxy servers. I dont think I would find a job where I can laze around more.
Would you go mad if every time you got neuted in PvP the below played at 2x speed (per neut on you for the whole duration until you blew up the neuters ship)
