I just finished watching Alien 3. I had seen ti before and didnt’ remmber it well, and I kinda understand why. It’s not like Aliens. Next week the same channel will broadcast Alien Resurrection, which I could see at cinema and have rewatched on TV when possible. Just gotta love alien-Ripley, she’s totally badass!
Anyway I’ts tiem to call it a day. Not sure how I feel about forums going into heavy moderation mode, guess that now I’ll have to read the rules or something!

Resurrection was my least favorite, however the swimming aliens are awesome, and I think they could have done more with alien Ripley. I got a box set with extended versions of all 4 and I watch them once or twice a year.

Hmmm, not sure I’m feeling the Alien stories anymore. Seems like same old same old. They go to find the origins of life, a megacorp places an android among the crew with sinister goals, you know how the story goes.

Wel, I like the second - Aliens even more than first Alien. So much iconic imagery and concepts from that film. And mad props.
So I am waking up today, forgetting it saturday completely. Even panicked that my alarm clock broke, until I saw the date. Sudden realization and relief…
A,lso I gave a name to the drink I sometimes make with milk, honey and whiskey. “Sex in the hay”. Like a rural version of “sex on the beach”.

I think that Aliens is the funniest, whereas Alien is the scariest. Alien 3 is just lacking in all scores, and Resurrection, well, I find it funny, it haves a underlying goofiness and grim humour (the General checking whether an alien bited his brains off…), alien Ripley is awesome and the swimming aliens are SO cool.
I don’t consider that the last film, whose title I won’t bother to check, is part of the Alien saga. The moment it was handed to that sh*t scriptwirter from Lost, it lost all chances to be anything more than a polished turd.

Multiculturalism in the XXIst century…
Nightcore is a style based upon the themes of a NORWEGIAN band;
“Cotton Eye Joe” is a theme by a SWEDDISH band;
Manga is a JAPANESE drawing style;
The character is AMERICAN;
But is wearing an AUSTRALIAN hat;
Her eyes are lined in black, which was started by ANCIENT EGYPTIANS;
And armbands are an INDIAN tradtion.
(Also the character is obviously of Scandinavian ascent, but I already said “Sweddish”)
