I’ve been learning the same thing! Trying to rig an orc from Shadow of Mordor so I can transfer it to Unity and then to VR Chat!
Meanwhile I am just animating an rigged Sephiroth model for my default avatar, learning about dynamic bones, dynamic bone coliders, animations and particle effects.
It is weird how everytime I test the character the jaw and some body parts get… weird. The Jaw is the most noticeable, getting a much bigger chin when checking out the muscles definitions or even in VR Chat. Posted the issue on the Unity forums so hopefully someone can help, I don’t want my pretty Sephiroth face ruined.
you can believe it I almost got into a violent altercation with an old man over how he was using the word weal at a bar. Weal means to injure. He was using it for as if it meant the common good. I went there for dinner not retarded geriatrics with nothing better to do than die.
I wasn’t aware that my team had killed all other ships. We were losing badly (like, by 400 points) as it took forever to start capping with half the team “snipping” as our DDs were pushed back or died. I had capped B and finished a North Carolina camping it (42k worth of damage, bow penetration included), then I moved to D knowing that there was a DD somewhere so probably I would get a nasty surprise had he moved south. A Hindenburg was in D and he apparently ignored me as he showed broadside, I fired at him but overpenetrated, then I saw him turning and I thought: “HERE, NOW is when he dropped torps!” so I started turning away, meanwhile I had reloaded and hit him down to 1700 HP. I was on fire from his main battery but avoided his torpedos, still tracking him with the main battery as secondaries rained on him, and suddenly BOOM!, he was gone, and the victory screen showed up. I don’t know who or when killed the other enemy ships (1 DD which apparently had moved North, 1 BB and 1 CA, plus my Hindenburg). We killed 5 of them in less than 2 minutes (including the NC)!
It’s been awesome. I was laughing so hard! Victory? Out of the jaws of defeat with a terrible team, a terrible match, after 4 consecutive defeats, and I just win the game with secondaries? LOL!
Yes, it’s from the same company but there are some differences with WoT, specially, there’s no “gold ammo” so the P2W factor is smaller. Also combat is slower paced and doesn’t requires teen-on-testosterone reflexes; in that sense (only that sense) is a more “mature” FPS.
I’ve been playing it on and off since it was released a couple of years ago.
I have a complex relation with sleep (being mildly insomniac) but I haven’t had that kind of wish for many many years. Not that I worry about it happening; but when I wish, I wish to sleep non-stop until my time to get off bed, and to feel fully rested and active after sleeping. I could use that this night; last night I rested poorly and my brain played a dirty trick on me and made me dream something horrible. It’s the first time I have that kind of dream and I’m still puzzled about where the hell did it come from as it was nothing I’ve ever seen, not even on films. And certainly hope I won’t see it live.
And tonight as always when I dreamed last night, I am wrecked and I’m giving a try to go to sleep earlier.

Well, at least I got loads of laughs in VRChat when testing the avatar, so today only the morning was productive, the rest of the day was laughin and admiring cool avatars
