I need a whooooole lot more fiddling in about:config and userChrome.css to make this browser usable for me… Disabling all the trash nobody needs (like Pocket, Sync, this Mobile trash, …) and making it actually look decent (e.g. not this “modern” web 2.0 trash).

I am glad you liked it. I like to make those things more “real”. Have done some Quafe labels even, and PLEX in physical form. Printed out the propaganda posters I made for contests too, and keeping them in a shelf, not having frames yet.

I have been meaning to learn blender, I used to make things in 3dsMax years ago. Real life has not afforded me the energy lately though. I played around with it long enough to see I will have to learn nearly everything again since it is so different, but it will be worth it when I am able to in the future.

I’ve always assumed nothing is secure on any internet connected machine and I sure in the hell would never use any google product for storing or emailing anything that’s even remotely sensitive.
As for surveillance, I believe it. Heck, the lengths google goes to just for advertising tells me anything is fair game for “national security purposes.”
