I remember working on linux when computer had 128 MB of ram and everything was swift. But it was around 10 years ago. Windows was faster too then and took less ram. I dont know why people call improvement what we have now.

Improvement is always relative. Now we have Internet connections a lot faster than when I started using Internet, but now webs are much heavier and specially have a lot of bullsh*t attached so sometimes they load slower than back in the time.

I don’t see any glow around that window… maybe is a browser thing? I’m on Firefox.

PS: Well, there is a white outline around it, but it’s always been this way for me:
