Well, guess that some context was lost in translation. Or somehting.
I donât know whatâs more ominous for blockchain, whether quantum computing growing up or Hilmar interesting himself in the conceptâŠ
Well, blockchain is the new magic buzzword that magically increases your stock by 150% when you announce that youâre doing something with blockchain⊠It was only a matter of time until Hilmar jumped on that bandwaggon as well, with his last remaining cash cow being mismanaged into certain death and all.
Also, 72 qubits is hardly quantum computing growing up. You canât do â â â â with 72 qubits.
Starting to get back into the feel of my capsule.
Dropped anchor in Horizon again without incident. Squatters have been quiet. But war is coming, no better excuse for content than taking back your home system. Still looking for a corp for my main pilots, kinda narrowed it down to two. Possibly app up in the next few weeks, want to do some of my own stuff first.
Had time to acclimatise to most changes in EVE. Among the top negatives remains the forum change, along with what appears to be a dramatic drop in forum activity from 1 - 2 years ago. I still find the layout uninspiring, and lacking a lot of the characteristics that kinda added to the social sandbox that the forums used to feel like.
Nothing really negative to say about ingame. Activity seems a little lower than what I remember. Before I came back a friend told me âEVE isnât in the best place right nowâ and I think thereâs some truth to that. But to me it still remains as â â â â â â â awesome as ever. Still dislike the watch-list change though, ugh ⊠Captainâs quarters etc, well yeah sad to see it go but totally understandable. CCP got that side of things wrong long ago anyway and so this was a given.
Positive points, socially, so many awesome old faces still here and flying. This gameâs always lured some of the coolest humans Iâve ever met online and thatâs still the same it seems. People have been kind to me since returning too.
Ingame, well thereâs a ton of positives. But most of the changes I like the most are all visible in this one picture âŠ
Had a blast at Burn Jita 5 also. Love that event so much, Iâm such a whore. Thanks Goons & CODE for the party.
Still, none have been as great as the first though. Beautiful lunatics like Ralph King Griffin jumping into Jita with smart bombing battleships. You wonât see that kind of passion and balls in the young capsuleers today.
Well, I also donât get whatâs the fuss with 72 qubits, but the articles claim that itâs an impressive amount totally worth noting. Iâm quite green on quantum computation, tbh, but at least I understand the underlying principles.
Also Iâve learned that quantum computers work by creating qubits continuously as theyâre extremely unstable, that has helped a lot to understand how they work.
IBM held the record before with 50-something qubits. Itâs an impressive feat to add another 20 on that, especially in a rather short timeframe of a few months, but you still canât do â â â â with it. Quantum computers only have a very limited domain theyâre useful in and without thousands of qubits theyâre essentially useless.
Well, highsec has taken the hardest hit. Thereâs less people in space than I remember when I was still active, two years ago. Some may have moved to null, others may just have left the game.
Now that Iâve seen clearly that CCP will never do anything worth it about PvE, all is meaningless. I just come here to practice English, share funny stuff and read interesting stuff.
And like.
And get likes.
I shall do my part.
Starship Troopers was basically a movie about Zerg vs. Terran.
But, do the bugs obtain citizenship for the service?
Remember Buenos Aires, I say kill all bugs.
Well Iâm closing in on two years now without logging into Eve now with no fucks given the entire time.
I just developed the habit of thinking about EVE, itâs one of my passtimes even if I donât play EVE. Itâs not as big a topic as when I played, but still is a thing I think about.
And now Iâm off to bed. Nighties lovelies!
Also: hereâs someone who just takes miniature engineering to a unparallel level: JosĂ© Manuel Hermo, aka âPateloâ.
Work work work. Leaves no time to watch her twerk. If they even still do that type of thing.
I asked a Zerg and it simply replied:
âBbbbbleeeeaaaarggghhhh Ssssrrooooouuuggghhhhhhhaaaaa!â.
I didnât understand what he said. I hope you might help me translate it being the brainy woman you are.
Rush Hour 3 isnât as good as Rush Hour 1-2. I hope they make a good 4th installment.
