The Permanent Green Safety Brigade

I acknowledge that. As I said, I lost interest about a year in because I saw what kind of low game CCP was playing with its players and I wasn’t going to be lead down that path.
I don’t like sticks but I love carrots and since CCP obstinately aimed at giving the players only sticks I decided not to give them my money.
So the reasons are numerous and less tied to the game itself than to CCP’s doings.

Good morning friend  Might I suggest just undocking in your 20 dessies, SDing and then biomassing?

LOL, target lack has been in effect for a long time, as there is almost no reason to go to low sec.

You claim I push players away from EVE, when in fact when I do kill peeps in game, I merely drop a GF after LOL.

I simply demand players understand the game THEY chose to play. EVE is an open world PvP sandbox, where you consent to PvP the moment you undock, period.

If not your cup of tea? Stardew. Its that simple.

I will not let carebears go unchallenged trying to change the game into something it isn’t.

Why wait? Biomass today  If not, you’re just being dramatic posting in a forum of a game you no longer enjoy. That’s the real craziness LOL.

Proving DC’s point. ROFL.

Yet somehow still here and still posting. Fascinating

CCP owns your soul and you don’t even know it

 That’s kind of dark, even for you, Gix.

Son, you’re playing and posting in a game you have already said you don’t enjoy.

What else would you call that?

I cannot fathom why peeps do this. If you don’t like the game, simply move on.

Never said I don’t enjoy playing EVE.

Putting words in my mouth, I guess?

Never said I don’t like the game.

Now that you’re done putting words in my mouth, maybe you’d like to read what I actually wrote, hmm?

You mean those words? You literally said you lost interest, ergo no longer having fun.

Again, more proof.

More proof.

Again son, just give the 20 dessies to a noob and biomass

I feel like you’re missing the point I’m trying to convey. You’re once again blaming CCP’s changes, and not your own lack of desire and motivation, for your issues in the game.

All that CCP has done is make balancing changes to various aspects of the game. Unless CCP closes the open economy, and starts selling items in the cash shop, there isn’t a concept of “carrots and sticks” for the entire player base because one player’s stick is always going to be another’s carrot. There will always be winners and losers in this game’s environment, because as long as the economy remains in the players’ hands, there will always be opportunities for players to exploit. You’re making it seem like CCP made the game worse for everyone with their “sticks,” but you’re discounting all of the players who became significantly better off by engaging in aspects of the economy/industry that suddenly became much more lucrative. For example, if battleships went from 120 million ISK to 320 million ISK, did everyone become worse off? Even the players who mined the minerals that tripled in price, or the producers that started commanding larger margins as competition dropped off due to the perceived increased difficulty? Please actually try to genuinely think about the underlying relationships in the system.

And I agree with Gix. Why are you making yourself miserable? If you don’t like how the game has become, and are unwilling and/or unable to adapt to the recent changes, just quit now. You really don’t have to wait for your 20 destroyers to get exploded to do this. Why waste the time?

Cause the drama

@Gix_Firebrand
Give me a break and go bother another member, will you?
You can post at me when you learn how to read, ok? Great. Bye.

It can be a lot cheaper to solo PvP, single account too. Base out of a tradehub that actually has stuff, you can do your pve from there and you filament into null from there for solo PvP in basic ships. Preferably ones that are easily engagable, which tend to be the cheaper ones as well.

Is some sort attempt at a boomer burn?

I mean besides the obvious fact that I can read, considering I am responding to your post…

It ain’t my fault you got wtfpwned by your own words

@Destiny_Corrupted
I’ll play EVE as an Alpha if it pleases me, for however long as it pleases me.
Let me remind you that I didn’t jump into your convo, you jumped into mine with other members so don’t go pretend that I’m complaining to you about anything.

Let me be clear: I think EVE is too expensive for what it is and it is ultimately the main reason why I’ll leave once I have no more ships or isk.

No need to make a debate about it.

That pretty funny

Yup. Getting defensive and throwing out that generic passive-aggressive “I’ll do things how I want to, thanks” line is fairly indicative of a person feeling uncomfortable because their views have been challenged in a way that makes them have to consider the possibility that they’re not making all the right choices, and don’t have all the answers like they thought they did, and in fact have been making considerable amounts of self-cringe-inducing mistakes for a long time.

I get it, though—people don’t like to feel this way, so you do you. Burying the head in the sand makes the icky feeling go away after a while.

Aaaargh!! You shot me down with professional analysis!!
Way to go!! All I have to do now is go biomass my clone… NOT

No need to biomass. Extract the SP and give out the injectors to new players instead.

Yes Master. I shall do as you command, Master.

If you did, you’d probably end up enjoying the game a lot more.

I did enjoy the game for a while. Hell, I still enjoy it as Alpha. But paying $20 a month for the privilege of losing the stuff I paid for isn’t my idea of fun.

Son, you’re posting in a public forum. Anyone can jump in

Again, because you are unaware of the game you are actually playing
