Yes, they do. That doesn’t preclude the game being a PVP game. The simple fact is, everything you want to do has the potential to come into conflict with something that someone else wants to do. Hence, PVP game.

PVP is a form of game play its not the only or the master of game players and especially not in eve … you actually lose money doing it and you make money doing every thing else other then it side from very very rare occasions so how the ■■■■ does that logic hold for you ?

Everything in this game is PVP, all the gameplay, every last inch of it. Trading, mining, missioning, everything. EVERYTHING. It’s not just a form of gameplay, it’s a mode by which gameplay occurs.

It’s not an assumption, it’s a fact, and a demonstrable one as well.
Player vs player means competition between players. Any competition between players. That includes market competition, resource competition, and isk competition. Which means every last isk you generate out of thin air running missions or ratting reduces the value of isk for everyone, which puts you at odds with everyone, whether you like it or not. If you’re trying to sell stuff, you’re competing for price with other players on the market. Mining? Other players can mine those rocks as well.
It’s all PVP. Regardless of lore. Deal with it.
