The travelling salesman problem and quantum annealing

Hey,

Has CCP considered (if/when it’s cheap enough) to use a cloud-based quantum annealing computer in the future to quickly calculate trade routes?

Is there a problem with the current system or did you just want to talk about quantum computing because it was in the news?

Obviously because it was in the news, my good man, obviously.

And because it would be cool to calculate the fastest route to deliver and pick up stuff around more than 30 systems without waiting too long, just for the giggles.

The amount of time it’d take for CCP to figure it out and implement it would be completely wasted if the goal is to make lazy people slightly less lazy.

Which is why I said, the amount of time it’d take for CCP to figure it out and implement it would be completely wasted.
