Some people like it. Individual taste varies person to person. Me, I like chocolate caramel popcorn, bug i also won’t say no to a rosemary sea salt popcorn.

My only mention about this is… most of villains who act as villain they dont want to own the shits they have pulled… thye would like to harass but when other side return the harassment .. they just gone mad ..or either they want and expecting this .. to carry it to tickets or use as a token for future harassments ..

Also while many games seeking ways to diminish toxic behaviours… Eve Online simply incentivise player base for that… and encourage them … and this way… it has grat potential to be an outlet for malign narcicists… psychopaths and sociopaths … Where they can exist and thrive without feeling any preassure …
this is a great outlet area because also rules are designed to nurture them but not punish them .
Especially in PVP voice comms has critical importance… and In EVE Online voice comms are very important and most of harassmets occurs actually in comms more than written ingame channels …
CCP doesnt accept any responsibility for that… and by removing ingame comms they totally remove themselves from that responsibility …
also they remove themselves from responsibility around Human Rights under the title of role playing…
And this game is PEGI scale 12 years old…
When i had experienced very heavy harassment the second i open my mouth and they realised im women … i just left the comms without saying anything and leave the game… when i shared this and ticket they told me to record it next time then they can help…

its very common behaviour to tell people leave the game in EVE… and ask may i have your stuff if anyone write something sad and reflect their resentment… Nearly like THEY HAVE NO RIGHT to feel resentment … like that emotion shouldnt exist… like little ugly duck … When we commit to play we do accept the harsh nature of game… losses are real scamming is legal… people can steal things from you by using in game mechanics … But not by using outside game tools…
i did PVP too… but i have never did it for harassment purpose… or for intimidation… Today so many people especially young ones… extremely lost their perspective about to seperate things … And this is dangerous…
harassing other doesnt makes you strong person … Or using those mechanics to provide outlet for malign pathalogy…
If you would like to approach someone with well intentions… one of the things you need to pay attention is not comparing them with others…

Yup. As soon I start identifying that sort of toxic behavior, people think I want to shut EVE down or something. No. I am glad they are online, getting jollies in the game. But sooooo many people come to EVE not expecting so much of the horrific abuse that goes on, and I mean in chats, comms and the forum and that’s just plain wrong. People should definitely come to this game and all its related areas with their guard up. And CCP should definitely encourage them to have their guard up and expect abuse…and do what it can to warn people up front. Just billing New Eden as a dangerous place doesn’t cut it.
Can you guys take your tinfoil hats somewhere else this was a perfectly nice thread before no need to start this.
