So for lack of arguing with them they deserve insults and ridicule to the point of pushing them out of the community?
I’d rather argue with them than making it clear they are not welcome on the forum.

I wish that were true, and even if it would be, there’s always the N+1 solution.
The point is, when you post something about the game or its players that some others disagree with, the fact that a real-life threat is more likely than an in-game threat is just sad.
Oh, but it is.
Ever seen a video of groups of protesters clashing with one another? Thats as real as it gets. When people argue and debate over differences of opinion, it gets nasty, because people are passionate, and they think they are right.
Its like that in the US, its like that in Canada, its like that in Japan, its like that in Australia. Its like that in any country that has freedom of speech and freedom of rights, and its also like that sometimes in countries that dont have freedoms at all.
I don’t but when people troll, what do you expect to come out of it? And people do, eventually people get bored of fighting with someone that incites said argument.
Well, we kinda do know, because ive argued with the same people over and over again. They dont seem to be going anywhere, and neither am I.
We are not talking about protests and riots. We are talking about discussions and disagreeing with one another.

Most riots and protests start with some law being passed or some government actions that people don’t thinks are just.

The religious beliefs plus position and perceived invulnerability of individual, depending how illusionary, can be also taken into account.
