Why is it only shithole players lose at the game?

Everyone loses ships in this game.

The difference is some players also lose their mind over it.

My recommendation: don’t. Learn, adapt and get better with every loss. I think that link Mike wrote earlier was a nice story on this topic!

You kept thinking otherwise and got punished for it. Now you know!

losses in this game can cause real emotional pain. It’s a survival game. If you can’t progress, it means its not a suitable game for you. Just play other game genre. :slightly_smiling_face:

Even some of the famous ruthless big players in this game quits when time comes.

Q: Why is this posted in Photon UI?

Not all of us, just some. This post is a prime example of why we don’t need a safe haven and just better instruction. This user might not ever read this post, but my hope is some new players will see it.

The 11 Commandments of John and Not the Crap

  1. Not one of the video trailers are accurate or insightful. Pure falsehoods 100%.
  2. You are a target on day one.
  3. You will lose ships and people have a meme “Never fly what you cannot afford to lose.” for a reason.
  4. Alphas and unskilled pilots are pinatas for the veterans to blow up. Learn not to be their pinata.
  5. Never buy into any game, without testing the waters. A fool and their money are soon parted.
  6. I recommend all new players to skill train one character for a month, while they play smart doing simple missions.
  7. After a few weeks, if you believe this game is a good fit, then buy your omega, so you can train faster and fly the better ships.
  8. Still don’t know what you are doing wrong? Join a corp and find out from others.
  9. There are quite a few carebears mixed in with us assholes. They are not hard to find.
  10. Most PvP games bring out the best and the worst in us all.
  11. When I get blown up by a player, to me it feels no different, when I get blown up by an NPC.

This doesn’t seem like a “good fit” for you and you may want to look into other games.

Good advices.
I’d add, if you want to learn the game fast, join EvE Uni, it’s kinda their whole thing.

Because the OP stated in his first sentence that he/she/they is “a very precise person who learns everything about everything” and felt the need to have it contradicted right away by demonstrating the inabilty of proper forum use.
