This game is fun. I'm looking forward to persistant features

I have been playing since yesterday and I’m really enjoying myself. There is a good variety of objectives and resource gathering methods to keep minute to minute game-play interesting. Obviously it feels bare bones right now but I expect that more weapons and enemy types will be added and that’s not really what i am worried about. What I DO think should be a priority (and where a lot of live service games screw up) is long term goals and keeping peoples interest over time. The prospect of this game being a sandbox MMOFPS is very tantalizing to me. If players are able to deploy or build permanent structures on maps to passively collect resources I think this could create a lot of very interesting content. Having other groups of players attack them and put them on a lockdown timer to create showdowns on sandbox maps would be incredible. Being able to make permanent changes to the game world in big and small ways, and coming into conflict with others over these changes is really key. Persistence is what is going to set this game apart from everything else on the market, and if this game can achieve stuff like this than it is really going to stand out from the crowd of Extraction Shooters and be something actually unique that can stand the test of time.
