star wars galaxies - Servers back in the day had a Pretty nice and stable poppulation (500k if i remember Right)
after the NGE update (new game enhancement) the game got more focus on casuals, making everything easier, no more effort, makin it almost a singleplayer game… SERVERS DIED, and sony online entertaiment is nomore lol
the devs of sony even warnd other mmo devs to not repeat this mistake!!
world of warcraft - the original game design was focused on all types of players, casuals and hardcore players! over the years the devs did focus only on the lowest type of casual (the retard)
after some expansion blizzard did stop to give us population/sub numbers (guess why lol) and most of the servers (even if some of them say full or high pop) are freakin wastelands!
just wait for wow classic server launch! classic server population gonna explode and this will hopefully change the mmo market again!!
edit: forgot my first mmo, ultima online, the game became ■■■■ after they removed open pvp from the main world, sub numbers dropd and only private servers with the old version still have a nice population.
same story with runescape, albion and i guess there are alot of more games… im sick of it

I have no idea what your taking about. High sec PVP has changed very little since I started in 2008. The biggest change I can think of in the last 11 years is the crime watch thing and that just changed HOW to PvP in high Sec.
None of what you said has any connection to EVE Online. You’re just reciting a list of “here are some MMOs and some things that happened to them.” but you never once show any proof that the same thing will happen to EVE Online.

all the games i listed dont have any connections with eachother but all had the same story/ending,… they lost a ton of players because changes that made it more casual friendly and boring

u clearly see in the graph that Oldschool runescape got way more players than new runescape!! BUT WHY? the new runescape got way better graphics!? 
i tell u why! BECAUSE THE GAME SUCKS NOW! all those casual friendly updates killed its population and made the game damn boring! a older game which is ugly as hell still beats its update and more pretty Version, because its a challenge, more social and fun!

dude i playd all of these games, and the Person who did make the YouTube Video on the reddit link is also a swg pre-cu player! just go on swgemu.com and ask the emu devs(all pre-cu players) who remake the game on the history of this game and if u dont believe em just ask the orginal devs!
raph koster(he did work on ultima too) was one of the orginal star wars galaxie devs! even he got a video about the mistakes they made with swg! maybe u believe him?
